Do you have any slowburn parent-child relationship prompts?
(I’m assuming you mean surrogate because those are the typical slowburns :))
“I’m only helping you out this one time, got it?”
Parent trying to insist to other people “no, really, they’re not my kid, just my [servant/assistant/student/ect.]”
Other people having thorough Doubt (X)
“I’m not your mom/dad. Do what you want. NO WAIT, EXCEPT FOR THAT, YOU CAN’T DO THAT!”
Child being awkward about what terms to refer to Parent by (Mr., Mrs., Sir, Ma’am, Sensei, First name, Last name, ???)
Child generally fumbling over their words around Parent and then trying to cover it up with joking, which only makes matters worse
Child trying to convince Parent to watch a particular movie “because it’s really good/funny!” and definitely not because it’s about a parent-child relationship that they feel mimics their own
Parent accidentally starting to use the terms “we/us” when referring to their grocery list or other household functions (“we’re out of bread again” “I have to do our laundry”)
That one time the child accidentally calls the Parent “Mom/Dad” and both of them just freeze awkwardly and then there are 5 hours of denial and painful familial tension
