Problem #10
Being told that stress makes psoriasis worse.
And that psoriasis increases your chances of cancer.
And stress increases your chances of cancer.
And stressing about the fact that stress is so dangerous.

Problem #10
Being told that stress makes psoriasis worse.
And that psoriasis increases your chances of cancer.
And stress increases your chances of cancer.
And stressing about the fact that stress is so dangerous.
Problem #9
Choosing between these:
1) Shaving, and therefore looking like Edward Scissorhands has been getting a little too close
2) Not shaving, because your skin will hate you less (even if you do look like a gorilla because of it)
Problem #8
"Sooo... It's like eczema?"
Problem #7
Shaving.
Problem #6
Hoping that the tiny bit of sunlight I get in the summer will instantly cure me so I don’t have to go for treatment then feeling let down
When people call me beautiful, hot and so on, I just feel awkward. Would they still be saying those things if they could see the skin that's hidden under my clothes?
Problem #5
Having to decide whether to wear light clothing because it hides the bits that look like dandruff, or dark clothing because it may seem like you have dandruff, but screw it, you look damn good in black
Problem #4
Friend: Oh, you've got something in your hair, let me get that for you! Me: NO NO NO NO- too late.
Reminder for everyone
Your psoriasis doesn't make you ugly, so please don't be too self conscious about it. If anyone has an issue with it, that just shows what an ugly person they are.
Problem #3
Having to constantly explain that psoriasis is not eczema and list differences for those who don’t seem convinced
You’re allowed to be body positive. Everyone should be.
HOWEVER: don’t you dare insult someone else’s weight, whether they’re over or underweight, in order to feel better about yourself or to “spread body positivity”.
Loving/accepting your own body is great. But don’t hurt other people in order to do it.
I'd like to add that body positivity should include noticeable aesthetic differences besides weight. Including:
1. Skin tone 2. Tattoos, dyed hair or piercings 3. Medical things such as in the cases of amputees, skin disorders and burn victims
Everyone deserves to be happy with their body, whether others like/appreciate them or not. Even little details like the size of someone's nose or the amount of freckles they have can be a sensitive subject. Don't make fun of anyone else to feel better about yourself. Their insecurities are just as valid, and just as important, as yours.
You're all beautiful human beings! Have a good day :)
My sister showed me this today, she said it immediately reminded her of me.
It did give me a good laugh, hopefully it’ll do the same for you! :)
Hoovering the flakes off my bed before having friends over was not one of the highlights of my life
It's quite embarrassing to go round someone's house when they have dark coloured furniture and all you can think about is the likelihood of you flaking on it. But I'm fine with it on my stuff because when I was little, I decided it looked like stars in the sky or snow falling.
I find this funny but I also get slightly angry when I think that some people could genuinely turn down a potential partner due to psoriasis
Problem #2
"Have you tried *gives terrible idea* to get rid of it?"
