I have been using tumbler inconsistently. I started this blog as a studyblr but kinda didn't post at all after my 1st sem exams ended.

Let me introduce myself a little

I am Shreya from India.

I am a Bsc Psychology student

Semester: 4th

Age: 22 (Will turn 23 day after tomorrow... Hehe)

Was a medical aspirant but failure hit me and I decided to study psychology. Not disappointed with the subject but disappointed by the fact I wasted 3 years of my life to which I didn't even give my 100%.

I am Aroace btw

Fun fact about me I have Adhd and depression (Not so fun when I think about it; also my stats book is open in front of me but I am not studying and procrastinating by writing this)

People usually write interesting facts about themselves, but I feel like I kinda have none. Nothing special to share.

Hobbies: You can say maybe Drawing, photography and listening to music yeah ig that's it.

The only book I have finished in years is Loveless by Alice Oseman

saw an aro post that was angry over allo people in tags being arophobic, and an allo added onto it agreeing with one of the arophobic tags. the tag basically saying "i see romance as friendship BUT BETTER" and. SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUPPPP

friendship and romance are relationships. none is better than the other. they are different things. they are two different types of relationship. one is not the other "but better". A FRIENDSHIP DOESN'T NEED TO BECOME "MORE" FOR CERTAIN ACTIONS. YOU CAN PLATONICALLY FUCK. IT'S BEEN DONE. YOU CAN KISS YOUR FRIENDS. IF EVERYTHING IS CONSENSUAL IT'S FINE. FRIENDSHIP DOESN'T NEED TO BE "ELEVATED" FOR CERTAIN ACTIONS TO TAKE PLACE.

i just got up and i am so fucking tired of allo people and romance propaganda.

I am aroace. And it hasn't been a long since I had accepted it. I was more or less a rocky journey towards acceptance but eventually I did. The time when I came out to my best friend I didn't think much as she is very open about it. I told her about my journey and I mentioned to her once how I wanted a black ring when I realized I was ace because of its symbolism. She accepted me and everything (Fun fact she thought I was demisexual even before I came out to her). So it was all cool. Yesterday my friends celebrated my birthday and my best friend gifted me the ring and few other stuff. She remembered something that I mentioned once to her. I just can't tell you how happy I am. I felt so lucky having her in my life. She genuinely made my day. Thank you to whoever finally gave me a friend who cares this much.
