A Public Journey Of Self Love and Weight Loss

I am creating a radical transformation for myself. I am using honesty, transparency, accountability, as well as this blog to break my lifetime cycle of food addiction and low self esteem. I want to learn to love myself and prioritize my health. I am the mother to a 7 year old Heart and a 3 year old Monkey. I want to spare them the pain that comes with food and body issues. My Heart. "James", 8 and his cis-gender brother, Bay Area, California. “Over the last six months, my child has transitioned and transformed. He has become more confident, happier, and lighter...My child has been told, by kids at school, that he is not a boy or a girl, but an “it.” He has been questioned by skeptical kids and adults. Some of his old friends go out of their way to use his dead name or the wrong pronouns. He has chosen to not go to parties, play dates, sleepovers, camps, and other activities due to trepidation about dealing with some of these children…We are working hard to create a community for our child to thrive in.
