You know why I love Star Wars The Clone Wars so much?

When I was young, my dad played Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Wow! That was amazing! At that moment I met the world of Star Wars! I’m falling in love this universe!

When movie Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) was first run of cinema, i was a 8 years old girl. Ahsoka was almost my age! During all of episodes of The Clone Wars, I  grew up with her! 

Capitan Rex was my first crush, Obi-wan Kenobi advised with a good word and Anakin was a chosen one! 

Cody, Wolf, Jessy, Fives, Echo and many more!

And now… Is 2020… On 4th May is a Star Wars Day! That day the last episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will appear…

I’m crying a lot now, but i wanna to say: thank u!

Full offense but all of you talking about Anakin as if every other character in the movies and show should have bent over backwards to accommodate everything he ever did forgets that no one else in the story has the context we do.

Everyone frequently expresses trust and friendship to him. His Master tells him he’s proud of him and we see this frequently despite their banter. The Council actually puts a lot of trust in him, constantly, and his appointment to the Council was forced by the Chancellor when that boy was not ready to be a Master or to sit on the Council. Yoda gave perfectly reasonable advice for their Order and, to be honest, a normal person, although it was tone-deaf, but he didn’t have the context that we do and he didn’t realize that this has already happened to Anakin before. (And honestly he was right, that Anakin needed to let go of Padme in a major way, because he was clinging on so tight that he suffocated her.) Obi-Wan, especially in The Clone Wars, frequently works to communicate with and be open with Anakin, being honest with him about Satine, asking after his feelings, being transparent as often as possible and actually expressing his feelings and opinions. 

It’s always Anakin who doesn’t communicate. He never told Obi-Wan what happened with the Tuskens, he never told anyone he married Padme (even though so many people knew), he didn’t tell anyone but Yoda about his visions about Padme and even then I can’t remember if he even said these are visions and this has happened before and my mom died. He doesn’t communicate because he’s too afraid of being judged and losing people.

You guys want to talk about how nobody gave him a chance, how nobody was there for him, how everyone failed him and misunderstood him, but that’s not what happened. That’s not the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker. The tragedy of Anakin Skywalker is that he had every opportunity, that he had people who loved him that would have been there for him in an instant, that he could have at any point turned to Obi-Wan or someone more experienced and actually expressed his feelings and it would have been okay because they would have understood. (We are shown, repeatedly, that Obi-Wan would have understood, even if he clearly does not work like Anakin does and that his love for people is much more quiet and yes, selfless, but no less intense.) The tragedy of Anakin Skywalker is that he never learned how to let go and he never learned how to process his emotions and that is what people forget. And you can’t blame it on the Jedi, because despite some clear flaws in the methods the Jedi have chosen to deal with their feelings, they are a group of relatively well-adjusted people, as we can see in Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon and Ahsoka. These are people who understand the importance of compassion, whose relational intelligence is surprisingly evident, who are frequently shown to be very honest about how much they value people around them without qualms. Anakin’s fall is not on the Jedi.

Anakin’s fall is his own damn responsibility.

I love how Rex and the 501st painted their helmets BEFORE the attack on Mandalore was even approved like they didn’t even know for sure that they’d be working with Ahsoka again but as soon as Rex heard she was coming he was just like “Cody I need you to give me ALL of your spare orange paint this SECOND”
