Hey. If people aren't aware, Microsoft admitted they know who you and where you are at all times and will give your info to the police.
They have a Global Device Identifier (GDID) Tracker that functions as a fingerprint for your PC that can surpass VPNs, proxy servers and countries. Although it can't survive a clean reinstall of Windows (it can survive updates), because Microsoft forces you to go to the internet and log in into a Microsoft account, they will be able to get to you.
Microsoft kept it secret and it was only found out when the FBI tracked a hacker thanks to the information Microsoft gave them.
You should be paying attention to this, and possibly consider moving away from Windows. If a government, especially the US government, doesn't like you for some reason, this could be seriously concerning.
This article specifically notes:
For journalism, activism, or domestic abuse situations, skip Windows and use Linux routed through Tor instead of a commercial VPN. A GDID doesnât care which VPN you use, only that itâs still the same Windows installation.
GDID is the persistent Windows ID that helped FBI trace a Scattered Spider hacker despite VPNs. Here's how it works and how to limit it.
Other important quotes:
What has researchers uneasy is everything else the case reveals. Costin Raiu, a well-known malware researcher, asked on the Three Buddy Problem podcast how much of this exists on other platforms, and whether it is linked more permanently to hardware. Matthew Hickey, another security researcher, called Windows âsurveillance softwareâ.
Two things back that up:
Thereâs no consent screen. A GDID gets assigned when you sign into a Microsoft Account. Appleâs advertising identifier needs an App Tracking Transparency prompt and a visible reset; Androidâs works the same way. GDID has neither, and a Windows reinstall only gets you a new number Microsoft can still get back to the same account.
Then thereâs activation. Massgrave, the group behind Microsoft Activation Scripts, notes that Windows setup sends hardware info to Microsoft and gets identifiers back, the same tokens later used for Store access and licensing: âItâs impossible to prevent Windows from getting a GDID without breaking activation and UWP app[s].â Anyone who lost a license after swapping a motherboard has already met a smaller version of this.
i canât find that one post where siobhan, ally, and murph are doing the âsee no evil, hear no evil, speak no evilâ thing in ccod
but iâm watching the ap for cloho ep 10 (aioligate) and im noticing a trend
Probably one of my favorite shows Iâve ever watched and read such a good series. Hilarious filled with action folklore Cryptids all that good stuff. and it all starts with an alien abduction and ghost hunting
a beardsley-wilson forehead smush can be something so personal
I never saw people say stuff like this enough when I was a teenager, so Iâm saying it now.
Iâm in my mid-thirties and I have never had sex. Iâve thought about it and could have had one or two opportunities if I put in more effort, but I always decided against it because I just wasnât into it at the time.
I can safely say that I do not feel I have missed out on anything. I was perfectly capable, by myself, of learning about my own body and boundaries without anyone else there to muddy the waters. The immense pressure that was there in my teens/twenties to Have Sex Just Do It is basically gone. Iâm vibing. Iâve got my routine by myself in bed that I enjoy, and thatâs enough for me.
And in the unlikely event that I ever decide to have sex with someone in the future, I donât feel at all like Iâm lacking some essential Knowledge or Skill that would âmake it goodâ for someone else. I fully expect to ask my partner out loud what they like and to receive an answer clearly communicated and to relax and have fun. And if itâs a disappointing experience, Iâm fine with that too. It is what it is.
Sex is just not that big of a deal. I suspected it as a teen, and Iâm more sure of it now. Itâs fine to have it or not have it. Itâs whatever.
Goddamn shots fired I assembled this a week ago and the fucker is still on my side table
The Amnesty International report that JK Rowling is trying to censor through legal threats.
It can also be found on Google Drive here and on Bluesky here.
Please save and share this info where possible. This report has since been removed by Amnesty International due to legal threats of libel from JK Rowling. This information is no longer easily accessible.
Deeply wronged by the choice to posh up the skeletor voice instead of casting someone like Gianmarco Soresi or John Mullaney, both of which would have been excellent choices or event Mark Hamill who they used for the amazing animated Netflix limited series they did. Joe Leto/British/deep voice accenting it was a choice that did not honor the source material. Everything else was fun and awesome. Changing skeletorâs voice was a bridge too far, and honestly will lose fans. Commit to the bit guys. The villain having a âsillyâ voice is more real.

@quiddie this is what you did and i'm saying thank you
This is the 85 year old creator of Roger Rabbit:
what if you invited so many workplace violations in your gameshow that your employee asked your wife how big her dick was. wouldnât that be a crazy way to start a season. youâd probably save that episode for like the middle right. ease new viewers in? orâŠ. no? first episode? oh oka- hey man did you ask any lawyers abt this? three??? girl that canât be right.
When Sam said they had some ideas that they thought were just too devious until Samalamadingdong changed his mind, I think he was talking about this episode.
I love episodes of Game Changer where the only way to win is by learning & the only way to learn is by playing. With some episodes, like Don't Wake Standards & Practices, the overall flow of the game becomes pretty apparent pretty quickly, & also there's some surprises along the way. But then there's episodes like Count the Rice, Deja Vu, or Bingo, where the basic conceit of what the game even is is an ongoing mystery. I love that stuff.
I thought the same before Lily mentioned it
i was just chatting to my 82 year old father on the phone and he was talking about his lifelong struggle with ADHD and remarked, "but all the people who criticized me my whole life are dead now" and then did an evil cartoon sorcerer laugh. being old rocks
My dad is 82 and has the worst ADHD several of his doctors have ever seen. He is alone and miserable most of the time because he wants to socialize, but his wife has moved away from him and I wonât hang around if heâs being abusive. He mostly sits at home upset that he has nobody to talk to because even the people who tolerate him have full lives and canât be around a lot. My brother never sees him unless he needs something. He is abusive a lot just by being impatient and angry. I love my dad. I still can joke with him. I wonât travel with him after Last Time. He gets mad at me when I wonât Jump when he says Jump. Having ADHD and not having done anything to manage it by the time youâre 82 may work out for some, but I guarantee it will alienate a lot of people along the way. My dad is an extreme, and i think my mom helped keep him where he is instead of helping him. Sometimes you can be unapologetically different and itâs okay and you can be happy. Mostly in movies from my pov. In my experience, it really makes you feel alone. Donât abandon anyone, but donât tolerate abuse just cause someone has problems.
CRITICAL READING QUESTIONS:
Is the assumption that the elderly father in the first post has "not done anything to manage" his ADHD supported by the text? Why or why not?
Pure-Mornings concludes their response by imploring the reader, "don't tolerate abuse just cause someone has problems". What are examples of abusive behavior given in the first post, which Pure-mornings is responding to?
Wikipedia defines "projection" as "the mental process in which an individual attributes their own internal thoughts, beliefs, emotions, experiences, and personality traits to another person or group." Would the second post be a good example of projection? Support your answer with examples.
Iâm sorry if you were hurt by what I said.
My dad is abusive maybe yours isnât, but the criticism is what I thought implied abusive behavior. All your critics being dead doesnât mean they werenât right.
My reblog wasnât about your dad and I didnât claim it was, but to give another side for other people like me who need support. You might not live with your 82year old like me. Your 82year old also might be managing his adhd more than mine. Your dad might not have a temper.
I get you were trying to share a funny moment. I guess my post was just a âactually thatâs not funny to me and hereâs why.â Again sorry if you thought I was coming for you personally in some way.
I'm dying over the conditions of these grants are you fucking kidding me
so many guys dressed up as grant wearing grant glasses and grant shirts and who look kinda like grant stood in a room for like an entire shootblock with this script memorized
do you think they talked??? or were they silent?? did they discuss the script or theorize about whatever the fuck is happening?? did a grant say 'i'm a new dad' just for all the other grants to go 'oh congratulations man!' and then start giving dad advice because some of them are also fathers???? how many of them are there because how many people would you need to make 'hi i'm 50' true for all of them??? when they left the room did they stream out in a crowd of grants?? do you think they made lifelong friends in that room? do you think they fell in love??? do you think one day their grandchildren will ask 'grandpas, how did you meet?' and they'll say that they met standing in a room dressed as some guy named grant and speaking identically because somehow they ended up standing next to each other and now their love story is forever immortalized in this episode???
CAN YOU IMAGINE THE CALL SHEET
