I'm not mad I'm just... baffled
and don't want misinformation to spread,
this is all easy information to find on the official open office website, they have all of their releases logged on the second link I provided as far back as the original 2002 version 1.0.1.
Edit: apparently the *original* open office that was run by Oracle is the defunct one, and the one by Apache (what I've linked above and used for years) is one of the successors and I guess a kind of cousin to Libreoffice. I'll download Libreoffice when the internets fully back on my computer and do a comparison.
