Who would I dance with in the kitchen when I'm craving something hot enough to stop me from singing for a little while? How could I lose you? I'll miss hearing the sound of your heart beat through your chest. I'll miss you saying no when I say that you're the best. I'll constantly ache for having someone who'll play along like we have our own little world. I'll miss trying to sing along to songs we don't know. I'll hate wasting time all alone. You changed my world view. I know I can trust you. Now what will I do when I miss you?

And then again... I remembered

Today, for 1 hour, 30 minutes, and 7 seconds... I remembered.

I remembered again how it felt to smile just by looking at someone. Smile when they talk. Smile when they look at you. Smile when they smile. Smile when you look away. My heart fluttered the way it did when I was in high school. I thought it was a feeling that I’d never feel again now that I’ve grown. It turns out that I just hadn’t felt it. Not because of time. But because of the people I thought was supposed to make me feel something.

Today, for 1 hour, 30 minutes, and 7 seconds... I remembered.

I remembered again how it felt to be called beautiful and not doubt his sincerity. I remembered again what a joy it is to talk about random things. It wasn’t intelligent. It wasn’t dumb. It was just... normal. I remembered again how happy it can make you just by looking at someone... listening to someone... and having that someone look at you... and listen to you.

Today, for 1 hour, 30 minutes, and 7 seconds... I remembered.

I remembered again how it felt to feel yourself falling in love. And when he said that he’d still love me even if I get a beard... oh his smile... I will never forget the 4 seconds of staring at each other and knowing.

I gotta thank you for a lot of things like not picking me over your insecurities 'cause if you did maybe it would've been romantic

but by then I hope you're happy with the decisions you have made and I hope you find true love when you pushed me away I hope by then you've stopped your game of stealing hearts then throwing them away and there's nothing in your life that you regret
