Hello loves!!! I finally posted my first chapter of my new novel, I just want to say that this story might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I’ve been genuinely passionate about period pieces ever since my first chapter of Anne with an E.

P.S - I’m looking for someone to partner up with to make this novel into an actual manwha someday. Just a project for fun! So pls if you’re good at digital art or any or used to manwha style pls let me know or even you know someone!!

Wounded Love

ok lowkey rant 😭

i really really want to write a bl story and not just as a Manwha but also as a novel version. the story i’ve been working on is set in a town torn apart by war, occupation, loyalty, betrayal, and very complicated love. it’s enemies to lovers, slow burn, morally gray characters, power imbalance, politics, grief, and devotion all mixed together.

i can handle the writing part, worldbuilding, plot, dialogue, everything—but i cannot draw to save my life 💀 so if anyone is an artist who’s interested in collaborating on a bl manhwa, especially historical / war-time vibes, dramatic tension, intense stares, uniforms, tragedy, and forbidden romance… please talk to me.

i’m not looking for anything super formal right now, just someone who vibes with the story and wants to build something together. i really believe this story could work both as a novel and as a manhwa.

town under occupation. two sides at war. secrets, propaganda, poetry, and love where it absolutely should not exist.

Why on EARTH are we shipping Toji & Nayoa??!!

Ok I’ll hear you out the guy is litterally obsessed with Toji it’s lowkey giving how dazai tryna annoy kunikida for some reason to me.

Banana Fish - Ai Dub

I honestly can’t believe they decided to AI dub Banana Fish. Out of every anime out there, they chose one that deals with trauma, abuse, violence, and some of the most emotionally heavy storytelling ever written—and they slapped an emotionless AI voice over it like it’s some random background show. It’s actually disgusting.

Banana Fish has been one of my all-time favorites because of how raw, human, and painfully real the characters feel. Ash’s voice acting, Eiji’s tone, the way every scene carries weight—those things matter. They’re not optional. They’re not something you can half-ass. You cannot recreate that level of emotion with an AI model that sounds like it’s reading a grocery list.

The new AI dub isn’t just bad—it’s disrespectful. There’s no emotion, no depth, no nuance, nothing that reflects the pain, hope, or connection the characters go through. It actually pisses me off that something so important, so meaningful, and so heavy was treated like a cheap experiment.

They got lazy with it. They didn’t care about the story, the fans, or the message behind the anime. They just wanted a quick shortcut. And it shows. Every second of that dub feels wrong, flat, and honestly kind of offensive considering the subject matter.

Banana Fish deserved real voice actors. Real emotion. Real humanity. Not this AI nonsense.

Madara - Hashirama

I could go on forever talking about this duo. They were the bestest of friends. They truly enjoyed each others company and were very similar. However once they found out theyre from opposing sides, everything changed. Theyre chemistry was strong, so strong.

Hashirama was clearly the superior one out of the two however he still valued madara more then himself. If they were never born into fighting eachother due to war, they wouldve by far been the most powerful duo and the bestest of friends.

They would always be with each other, both have the same goals, training together, and talking about life on the edge of that hill. They had deep trust for each other and couldve ruled the world if they went rouge together.

Tsunade - Jiraiya

This duo... a lot of people look at them as a ship and i aswell agree. They were perfect for eachother and their bond was everything bro. Tsunade doesnt care about people but the people she likes she loves attention by them. She would reject Jiraya everytime he tried to ask her out. Although deep inside she really did like him. She wanted him to keep asking. If Jiraya suvived, they wouldve been a thing. Accoridng to their bet if jiraya came back alive tsunade would agree to finally go out on a date with him. Its sad they never got the chance to be a couple. As a duo though they had a strong bond.

Both had chemistry and knew eachother since day one. This is weird i know but jiraya and tsunade remind me of the youtuber fgtv. The dad as jiraya and the mom as tsunade.

Tsunade as a charecter was tough and a hot head. Jiraya on the other hand was a lazy perverted goofball. Both legendary and iconic but are the opposite of each others personality.

Which in this case worked. Tsunade would always get mad at jiraya and beat the everliving shit out of him. it was all out of love and he knew it was his fault and would purposely trigger tsunade. She enjoyed his company very much. And they worked together very well. Both romantically and as a duo.

Naruto - Gaara

This duo was a good one. If they met in the academy they sure as hell wouldve been best friends. Both hurting inside, for the same reason. Everyone seeing them as monsters.

Everyone treating them inhumanly. They had so many similaritnes. They also had one thing in common that led them to be friends. They were both chinchurikis. When they realized they were similar in that sense, that immediately grew interest in the friendship. Naruto would chase after gaara. While gaara wanted to be friends with him he was too shy to go up to him and do all that. Naruto being a clear extrovert would chase after gaara just to be his friend. Gaara loved naruto for that and they became long distance friends who still held a tight bond with one another. They had every right to work together and go rogue. Both putting their lives on the line just to keep eachother safe. They had so much trust for eachother.

Yahiko - Nagato

They only had eachother and konan. They grew up in war with no real family. The only family they had was eachother.

Nagato was later gifted with these powerful eyes. Which made their team even more powerful. Him and nagato were like brothers. Only had eachother and needed to find ways to survive. With the eye, he got stronger and stronger. Vowing to protect yahiko any way he could. Yahiko sacrificed himself to save konan. Yahiko was a real friend, and was a very clean hearted person. Nagato never wanted to see yahiko hurt, they only had eachother afterall. Out of the two yahiko was the talktive one, the funny one, and the more silly one. While nagato was to himself and more on the quiet side. They have opposite personalities yet work alongside eachother so well.

Nagato was the stronger one while yahiko was the more open minded one.

Also I heard that gege said that Shiu was his favorite side character!!! Also literally they’re sooo sarcastically freaky with each other yk, also the scene where they mock the tengan dude is just tooo funny!!!
