The young gem wasn’t sure how she found herself in the room full of abandonment, warp pads full of cracks and little stickers, she was rather confused, but she couldn’t help but be drawn to the biggest one.

“Huh,” She spoke, her bare feet stepping on the first step on the massive pad. She took caution to avoid the cracks, but finally made it atop it. Was this the Homeworld warp? Is this how the war started? She knew she couldn’t answer her own questions, since she was clueless. She gently stepped down and sat criss-crossed in front of the pad, mesmerized by the thought of using it.

Meeting a new Gem was always a surprise for the boy, and most especially in this place. And in his experience most new Gems meant no good for him in the grand scheme of things. Ever the optomist, however, he was quick to greet her.

“Hey there, friend! Whathca up to?”
