You and your guests will love the taste of the prosciutto, salami, cheeses, fruits, and condiments that are mixed together.
Ingredients: 4-6 oz of prosciutto. 4-6 oz of salami. 4-6 oz of smoked turkey or chicken. 4-6 oz of aged cheddar cheese. 4-6 oz of brie cheese. 1/2 cup of roasted nuts e.g., almonds, pecans. 1/2 cup of dried cranberries. 1/2 cup of fig jam. 1/2 cup of whole grain mustard. 1-2 apples, sliced. 1-2 pears, sliced. 1 small bunch of grapes. Assorted crackers and breadsticks.
Instructions: Set up a big platter or board made of wood or slate to serve as a base for your charcuterie. Put the prosciutto, salami, and smoked turkey or chicken on the board first. To make them look nice, fold or roll them. Place chunks of aged cheddar cheese and slices of brie cheese on the board in different places. Add roasted nuts and dried cranberries to the board to make it more interesting and sweet. Set up small bowls of whole grain mustard and fig jam in different spots on the board so that people can dip and spread the bread. Put apple, pear, and grape slices around the board to fill in any spaces between the cheeses and meats. Lastly, fill in any empty spots with different kinds of crackers and breadsticks to give your charcuterie board a range of tastes and textures.
