Drusus of Clan Pyra
The youngest child of Magistrate Lucilla. Clan Pyra is a respected family known for its skill in fire dances, with every performance gathering large crowds. The Clan demands excellence from every member, especially the main family.
Drusus is quite the wallflower compared to the rest of his siblings, preferring to observe how things unfold. His quiet and seriousness makes him appear quite distant, though he grabs on strong to those who give him something to trust.

The doors of Starfall have been opened to all for tonight, for...
A Royal Masquerade
After a long storm caused a delay in the arrival of our attendees, the much-awaited ball begins.
King Vorian sits the throne, with his family beside him. The usually stony halls - now adorned in floral motifs and candles - are more welcoming than ever tonight.
In all, twenty women have come with intent to woo the young heir. Some dress humbly, while others are donned in a variety of pearls, gems, and precious metals. All are the picture of beauty.
They are presented to the Royal family in three groups.
the first group presented (left to right): The Winter Star, Lady Monarch, Lady Muse, Lady Venus, Lady Wildflower, Lady Harlequin, and Lady Andromeda
the second group presented: The Pale Rose, Lady Hestia, The Enchantress, Lady Light, The Gentle Dragon, Lady le Faye, and Lady Lunara
the third, and final group presented: The Little Sparrow, Lady Amphitrite, The Sea Maiden, The Silver Lioness, The Moonlit Maiden, and Lady Mirage
Alas, if Valarr is to truly get to know any of the women tonight - he will not be able to dance with them all.
He takes time in the seconds before the music begins to reflect on the contenders before him. For one moment only tonight - he considers the needs of the kingdom above all else. A good Queen is charismatic, but humble - qualities that he has seen in his own mother, Jaenaera.
He decides on 15 ladies to dance with, should time allow it....
kicking it off with an elimination already!

Empress Regent Artemisia of Clan Moon of Lumis, Queen Regent of the Lunari Sect, Daughter of Empress Selene
Artemisia, of Sagorah's blessed and second daughter of Empress Selene, never expected to get anywhere near the crown, but when her sister died in battle it was up to her to continue their line and have to abandon her studies to become a priestess. Though in her role as Empress Regent the Goddesses never left her ear.
The night became new and out of it grew
A hymn of the pearl
Don't lie to yourself, don't lie to the world
"As you lost control
Now look what you've done
What have you done"
Pysche of Clan Starr, Scholar of the Lunari Sect under Empress Demetria. She was a great Wixen, known for her control over wind and destruction on the battlefield. While all Amazonian women know how to behave in combat, it was quite uncharacteristic at the time for a scholar of her stature and intelligence too be seen on the field, and because of this many feared her.
Chaos:
"complete disorder and confusion"
I thought my character Psyche fit pretty well for the @simblr-witcherywednesday theme of the week: Chaos. its a bit late for an entry, but I wanted to give it a go anyways
[L-R] Empress Rosana of Clan Moon of Lumis, Entertainer Sapphire of Clan Frost, Scholar Kaitlynn of Clan Starr, Warrior Skylark of Clan Taylor
The surviving daughters of their generation, they each embodied their roles in their sect, but also reaching a tragic end.
Empress Rosana grew the medical advancements of Lumis after a plauge took many of her people in her youth and she was blessed with twin daughters, a great omen for the people of lumis, but sadly died in a fire in 2512 RA.
Entertainer Sapphire was one for the people, going down to the settlements and guilds and helping out when she could. She was beloved by all, as both Entertainer and consort of the Empress, giving a gentle hand to the common people. Saddened greatly by the death of her wife, Sapphire passed soon after in her sleep in 2516 RA.
Scholar Kaitlynn researched much into the stars, specializing in astronomy and astrology, talking with many of the Great Priestesses to further their use by the common people. She created many schools for the tribes and various settlements. A great teacher she was to her people. She outlived both Empress Rosana and Entertainer Sapphire, dying in old age in 2544 RA.
Warrior Skylark, the oldest of her generation, scared of all the death she witnessed in her youth had become a harded general, serving her people with great honor and later aquired a potion to become a Lamia. Not wanting to see all her friends die she begged Empress Rosana to send her away, regreting her decision to become a Lamia as soon as she had done it. Empress Rosana made her the Eldur Sect Queen, an honored position for one of her dear friends. Warrior Skylark left without having to witness the deaths of Empress Rosana and Entertainer Sapphire, and even later with Scholar Kaitlynn, but Queen Skylark still attended the funerals and mourned them as the sisters of bond they were to her before her transformation.
Entertainer Sapphire of Clan Frost of the Lunari Sect, Daughter of Entertainer Ametrine, Wife of Empress Rosana of Clan Moon
Entertainer Sapphire was born in 2463 RA, in the Sands region of Lumis at the Villa. She grew up along side her fellow sect mates, Empress Rosara, Warrior Skylark, and Scholar Kaitlynn. During her youth, Lumis fell under a horrid plauge that killed many, inlcuding her mother and the rest of the previous generation, including the Provider and Gatherer Heiress at the time. Sapphire and her sect mates were taken by Paladin Ismene under the orders of Empress Delphine to the Willows region. They stayed in a small manor until the end of the plague, while Empress Delphine's aunt, Paladin Pomponia, ruled as regent after Empress Delphine's death.
Once they returned as young adults, they took back their roles with gusto, and finally were able to mourn the people they had all lost. Empress Rosara grew Lumis to the great strength it had held once more. In Empress Rosara's 4th year in her reign, the two married, both as a love match and for political gain. To show that Lumis had regained its strength for frivalties their wedding was the event of the century.
Entertainer Sapphire during her lifetime had only one daughter, Entertainer Esmeralda, who grew up with her sisters from Empress Rosara and the rest of the daughters from her generation. Entertainer Sapphire is well beloved by the people of Lumis for her work, even to this day after her death in 2516 RA at the age of 53. Her funeral rivaled that of Empress Rosara with the attendance and prestige.
The great sisters, of Sun, Moon, and Prophecy. Sisters of bond and choice, choosing time and time again that they together are family forever. Ichor spilled to seal the pact, Sisters Three they became ~ Philosopher Kyrene Poiein of the Elegia Tribe, Daughter of Philosopher Xanthe Poiein in her Ode to The Three
As the Priestesses get higher in their rank, the more lower dots are they allowed to put underneath their eyes. A Grand High Priestess will have three as the highest rank, then two for the High Priestess, and one for once you become a Priestess. This process is sometimes referred to as "earning your eyes" as the dots are seen to symbolize the eyes of Sagorah in her starry night sky.
The hairstyles worn by Phaidra and Philoumene are their respective ranks way to show their ranking at a glance everyday. In a more caual setting they are allowed to change their hairstyle, but it is required within the more grander temples as there are many more Blessed within their walls, and during ceremonies as well.
Sagorah, the Goddess of the Night, Sleep, Justice, and Death, Ruler of the Three, Patron Goddess of Clan Moon, Bestower of the Blessing
Goddess of the Night, Sleep, Justice, and Death
Sagorah gained the domain of the night from the original Goddess of the Night, Naktam, who taught her after Sagorah was banished to the Steorra Forest. Sagorah had stumbled upon Naktam with her daughter, but only after Sagorah impressed Naktam by completing various challenges, one involving outsmarting another God, did she take Sagorah on as her apprentice and heiress.
Sleep and Death came hand in hand as she grew into her powers as the Goddess of the Night.
The domain of Justice came to her after her victory with the Amazons when they defeated their oppressors in the Virian people. Sagorah was honored for her role in the battle against the Virian gods as the Patron Goddess of Clan Moon, also making her the leader of the pantheon.
Ruler of the Three
Sagorah brought along her two younger sisters, Liphan, who is the Goddess of Life, Medicine, Healing, and the Sun, and Nabi, who is the Goddess of Fate, Prophecy, Destruction, Duwn, Dusk, and Winter. The trio became known as Bo Dzvi, The Three, and with Sagorah the eldest and the highest ranking, she was given the epitaph of Kraelis Bo Dzvis.
Bestower of the Blessing
The blessing in question is known as Sagorah's Blessing, what makes the Priestesses of Lumis capable of being a Priestess. The Blessing has physical effects, making the eyes cloudy, or in the case of a Vestle, removing the pupil and making the eye look like an auroua borealis.
All Priestesses are blessed, but not all Blessed are Priestesses since they must go through the training to become a Priestess or Vestle. The young ones that aren't old enough to start training are called G'ma Sagorah, the Daughters of Sagorah.
Sagorah was made in the image on Ba Amazonia, the Amazon, Maa'zet. The one to lead her out of her banishment and to the freedom of all Amazonians. Though her facial features resemble Maa'zet's, her hair is the light of Moon and the Stars, the nights sky covers part of her skin, reflecting what the sky and the stars look like.
The Grand High Priestesses of the Four Grand Temples
The Grand Temples are located in the regions of the Sands, the Willows, the Bay, and the Lagoon. The Grand High Priestesses are distinguished by three dots beneath their eyes paired with a single dot above, as well as makeup accentuating the inner corners of their eyes. A Grand High Priestess's signature elaborate bun, worn at all events and ceremonies they attend, further symbolizes their esteemed role.
There are only four Grand High Priestesses, a position of immense honor among the Blessed. They are elected by the High Priestesses to serve as leaders, representatives, and guardians of their respective Grand Temples. Only the Empress may summon them for counsel on significant matters, be they political, military, or otherwise. In the absence of a Grand High Heiress, it is the duty of the Grand High Priestess to choose one, but only if the Empress is unable.
