New WIP snippet (an Arya/Aegon moment)
Griff crossed his arms, the indignation on his face only making her laugh harder. āI like my hair.ā

She had been covering her face in her hands as she laughed but his words made her glance up incredulously at him. āShut up.ā
iāve been dealing with a bout of writerās block lately but now have finally got my flow back (thank god) and im working on my unpublished wip which is gendrya centric but has arya/aegon as well and honestly writing them is almost as thrilling as writing Gendrya:)) i canāt share too much yet because this fic is still at its infancy but an arya/aegon snippet shall follow this post so enjoy! :)

Okay so this first chapter of the new gendrya AU iām working on was supposed to be about 5000 words but im close to that and have realised that Iām definitely writing much more than that. Oops.
all these Jon and Sansa failing geography memes are just glorious. honestly most people would assume that meant they occasionally get confused and need to consult maps religiously when travelling anywhere but the GOT fandom...man this fandom took that note and went to town with it. jon and sansa now literally have no concept of what directions are. North? South? East? West? I do not know you. do they leave their rooms in Winterfell and somehow end up beyond the Wall? Of course they bloody do because remember Jon and Sansa failed geography. Do they lead their army into the wrong battlefield and go oh fuck Sansa we fucked up big time yeah no shit Jon sorry guys the boltons are twenty leagues away for some reason???? Of course they do. THIS is why i love this fandom so much.
You know there are fics that fight you at every word but then there are those fics that are so easy to write like 1000 words, 2000 words all just come so easily to you and it is JOY
Me throwing away all my responsibilities so I can get started on this gendrya multi-chap AU fic because why not? More details later but Iām excited to get back to writing. I think itās been quite a while since Iāve actually sat down and got to writing. Iāve been so stressed recently and writing Gendrya is honestly the best remedy:)

Random but when I write a characterās dialogue, I imagine the actor saying the line and if it sounds awkward coming from them, I cut the line immediately. Like Iām currently writing some dialogue for Tyrion so I just have Peter Dinklage in my head reading the dialogue which is great ahaha
So Iāve been thinking...
A lot about how I want to fix how Gendrya unfolded in Season 8 and that got me envisioning how I would change everything about it. Iām tentatively thinking of doing a complete rewrite of Season 8 and its ending. I love writing Arya and Gendry but Iām excited at the prospect of challenging myself by writing various other POVās in a more complex and larger story. Iām especially interested in dabbling in some Dany POV and also more Sansa. I anticipate that this will be a pretty big project and for now, my goal is to plan out and write the entire length of it before I post any chapter of it because I donāt want to write myself into a corner that I canāt get out from. Iām sure this is going to be quite demanding but Iāve got some preliminary ideas that Iām excited to get started on!
I just binge watched all eight episodes of Stranger Things in one night and I am full of so many feelings right now. (minor spoilers ahead)
Iāll probably be able to say more and articulate everything with a tad bit more eloquence some time later but STEVE. If season 2 wasnāt enough to make you love him, season 3 definitely will. I am LIVING for the steve/robin/dustin/erica dynamic this season. It was honestly the best part and itās so utterly pure. Okay brb need to cry about it some more.
