A burst of laughter escaped her lips as she heard Quinn speak about Jesse and Rachel. âIâm sorry to plant that image in your head. But, if I gotta think it, then you gotta think it. I donât make the rules.â She shrugged as she grabbed the liquor that would concoct the Snix-juice drink that was ever so popular in the bar. Only because Santana had been the creator of it and they were actually gaining profits from it. Speaking with Quinn was as easy as ever - she didnât feel a twinge of awkwardness even after all of these years. However, she was surprised that the woman in front of her used her career as a reason to get leverage for Beth. Not that Quinn wasnât cut-throat, that she was. But, Santana was always the one who was taking the actions without morals. Quinn was always classy and by the book. âI have to say you have some balls on you. Youâve done some interesting things in your life for Beth, but to risk that career of yours? Iâm slightly turned on by that.â She joked with the woman in front of her, but really was surprised. âIâm glad Beth got to see him, though. How did she feel about that?â She finished off the drink for Quinn, setting it in front of her and smiling. âThanks, Q. I really appreciate that. Brittany is someone I couldnât imagine my life without. She is literally my rock. Damn right, she is a breath of fresh air to have around.â
âYou totally couldâve just kept it to yourself.â Quinn wouldâve prefered if she had. She was still stuck on the image. âI want to see this rulebook.â Her eyes widened as she watched Santana make the drink. No wonder Santana had been so insistent on the one. At least itâd make the night entertaining, or so Quinn hoped. âIt was only a two time thing Santana. Donât go getting ideas.â She winked, knowing that Santana didnât mean it. While that was fun, her foray into the lesbian world was short lived and never to be revisited. âShe hasnât said anything yet. I think shes still in shock- I keep giving her openings to tell me about it, but she hasnât said anything. She didnât react badly to him though.â Quinns still waiting for the inevitble blow-up from Beth. âYou know, I never really got you and Britt until I met Sam again. That whole not being able to live without someone thing, but I know that if I lost Sam, I wouldnât even be able to function.âÂ
