People visit Shaykh Rabee’ so much he puts up dates when one can visit him. Alhamdulilah that we have Scholars that open their homes for the Students of Knowledge. Compare this to the so called speakers who believe themselves to be Scholars, who charge you to come to their “institutes” to learn filtered Aqeedah.
Q. Is the one who outwardly displays disobedience to Allaah ruled to be a Kaafir based upon the statement of the Messenger of Allaah:
"All of my nation will be forgiven except for those who outwardly expose their sins?"
A. No. he is not to be declared a disbeliever. The one who outwardly displays disobedience to Allaah is a Faasiq (criminal). We combat him, we warn against him, and we call him to make Tawbah (repentance). If he doesn't make Tawbah we cause the people to leave him. However, we do not judge him to be a Kaafir. The one who drinks Khamr (intoxicants), or commits Zinaa (illegal sexual intercourse), or steals, this person is disobedient. This is unless he believes that these acts are permissible, then in that case, he would be a Kaafir. If he says: "Khamr is Halaal (lawful)". We say: "You are a Kaafir", end of the situation. If he says: "Zinaa is Halaal", we say "You have disbelieved". If he says "Ruling by other than what Allaah has revealed is permissible", we say "You have disbelieved". This is how the situation is Baarakallaah feekum.
As for the situation where the person says "I'm a Muslim", and we see him pray, then is disobedient (for the committing of these sins), this is an individual that we do not declare to be a Kaafir, rather we say "He is disobedient" and we warn against him."

This is a call to all the people of the Sunnah, to support our brothers in Dammaj
Written by Shaykh Rabee' ibn Haadee al-Madkhali Hafidhahullaah In the name of Allaah the Rahman the Raheem Praise be to Allaah, and peace and salutations be upon the Messenger of Allaah, his family and companions and those who follow him upon goodness. As for what comes after: It is with great sorrow that (news) has reached us of what the Raafidhah al-Baatiniyyah, the enemies of Islaam and the noble Companions, are doing regarding the siege and threat towards our fellow brothers of the Sunnah, due to their hatred and spite against Islaam and its people. We advise our brothers in Dammaj to be firm upon the Sunnah and to be patient calling upon Allaah in order to repel this act of transgression and aggression from the Raafidhah. And for the government of Yemen and their fellow Sunni brothers to stand up with them (people of Dammaj) to face this tyranny and to eliminate this transgression and its perpetrators and rid the Muslims of the filth of these Raafidhah, if they are able to do so. "And verily Allaah will help those who help Him. Allaah is indeed al-Qawwiyy al-'Azeez." [al-Hajj] The conflict between Sunnis and Shiites is in reality a conflict between Islaam and Kufr. So it is upon the people of the Sunnah everywhere, whether in Yemen or in other places, to rise up, and support their brothers and ask Allaah to end the affair of these Raafidhah and all the enemies of Islaam everywhere. I ask Allaah the Most Generous the Lord of the Great Throne that He supports the people of the Sunnah against these Raafidhah, the enemies of Allaah and His Messenger. Verily my Lord hears prayer. Gather my books and bring them together, find the errors and bring them to me so I can repent before I die. Whoever finds my errors, I'll send gifts to him and if I'm not able to send a gift for finding my errors, at least I'll make du'aa for you.
Sheikh Rabee' bin Haadee al Madkhaalee [hafidhahullah] (How can Jarh wa Ta'deel be dead? by Abdul Hassan Maalik)
Shaykh Rabee' bin Haadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah Ta'aala) said:
"Don't say about a man who opposes the manhaj of the Salaf that he is a 'Salafi' No, don't say about a man who opposes the manhaj of the Salaf that he is a 'Salafi'. Don't say that a man is 'Salafi' until you are sure that he is upon the manhaj [of the Salaf]. He is honored by it, and calls to it. He loves and unites based upon it, and hates and separates because of it. This is a 'Salafi'.
But someone who claims that he is 'Salafi',' and defends Ahlul-Bid'ah, and defends them against Ahlul-Sunnah, this is not a 'Salafi' whatsoever. Whoever he is - Arab or non-Arab, in the East or in the West - because Salafiyyah has special qualities. Salafiyyah has signs. Salafiyyah has affairs that differentiate its people from others in Walaa` and Baraa`, and 'Aqeedah and Da'wah, and the stances that they take."

Women to Forbid the Evil Upon A Man She Meets in the Street?
Question: Is it permissible for a woman to forbid the evil upon a man when she is in the street?
Answer: If there are no men found forbidding the evil then she does so, she says "fear Allaah O muslim and leave this off" and she is veiled and modest, because Allaah most high says
"The believers, men and women, are Auliyaa (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another; they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma'roof (i.e. Islaamic Monotheism and all that Islaam orders one to do), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islaam has forbidden."
{Soorah (9) Ayah(71)}.
So the believing men and believing women both of them enjoin the good and forbid the evil, so if there is no one found forbidding that evil then she forbids it upon him while she is modest and she intends by that, the face of Allah Azza wa Jal , by the permission of Allah she has enjoined the good and forbade the evil. I fear from some women that they will take from this ayah and other than it and they will go out veiled and give lectures and seminars and mix with the men under the pretext of forbidding the evil! So this is not permissible and they ascend the pulpit in the masjid and forbid the evil! Like how this female devil did in America.
[Shaykh Rabee` bin Haadee al Madkhaalee]
“If you see a person upon the truth and another upon falsehood, it is obligatory for you to support the truth and warn against falsehood - otherwise you are lifeless. You don't affirm what is good, and you don't forbid the evil - and that is a clear sign of regressing and deteriorating hearts”
”Khumeini says that there is nothing of an atom’s weight in the heavens or in the earth except that it is in the control of the Imaams (i.e. the shia Imaams. He also said that the Imaams have universal authority over everything of an atom’s weight in the universe. On the other hand, Abu Jahl believed that Allaah alone is the creator of the heavens and the earth and that He (The Most High) is the Owner of hearing and sight, and that He (The Most High) is the controller of the affairs of the creation. Khumeini also said that the Imaams (i.e. the Shia Imaams) have a status that is neither possessed by a noble angel nor a Messenger sent by Allaah. Despite all this, Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen speaks good of his revolution (i.e. his Raafidi Revolution).”
[Source: Paraphrased from an audio titled: The stance of ikhwaan al-muslimeen towards khumeini by shaikh Rabee']
They are those who proceed upon the way of the Companions and those who followed them in righteousness, in clinging to the Book and the Sunnah, biting onto that with their molar teeth, and letting them (i.e., the Qur'aan and the Sunnah) take precedence over any statement or code and conduct - whether in belief, or acts of worship such as dealings and transactions, mannerisms, politics or social life.
They are those who are firm in regards to the fundamentals of the religion and its subsections, upon that which Allaah sent down and revealed upon his servant and Messenger Muhammad (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam). They are those establishing the call to that with all effort, sincerity and firm will. They are those carrying the knowledge of the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam), expelling from it the distortions of those who have exaggerated (in its regard) and the undue claims of the people of falsehood and the interpretations of the ignorant ones.
They are those who are observant and lie in wait for every group that has deviated from the way of Islaam, like the Jahmees and the Mu'tazilees and the Khawaarij and the Rawaafidh and the Murji'ah and the Qadriyyah and all of those who have deviated from the way of Allaah and have followed their desires in every time and place - they not affected by the reproach of the blamers, in the cause of Allaah
They are the group that the Messenger of Allaah has praised and commended in his saying,
"There will not cease to be a group from my Ummah manifest and upon the truth not being harmed by those who forsake them neither by those who oppose them until the hour is established." [Hadeeth saheeh collected by Muslim and others (3/1523),]
They are the Saved Sect firm upon that which the Messenger and his Companions were upon, those who have been distinguished and defined by the Messenger of Allaah when he mentioned that this Ummah shall divide into seventy three sects all going to the Hell-fire except one and it was said, "Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah?" He said, "They are those who are upon that which I and my Comapnions are upon."
And this is not something we say in exageration or a mere claim, but verily we speak a reality that the text of the Qur'aan and the Sunnah bears witness to, which history bears witness to, and to which their (i.e., the Ahlul-Hadeeth's) statements, their state of affairs, their writings and works also bear witness to. They are those who put before their eyes the statement of Allaah:
And hold fast, all of you together, to the rope of Allaah.
And His statement:
And let those who oppose the Messengers commandment beware lest some fitnah befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.
They are the most staunch in distancing themselves from opposing the command of the Messenger and the most distant from fitnah. They are those who make their constitution:
But no, by your Lord! They can have no faith, until they make you (O Muhammad (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam)) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept them with full submission.
They are those who give to the Qur'aan and the Sunnah their true worth and give it the honour and veneration it deserves, giving priority to them over all the statements of mankind, and give precedence to their guidance over the guidance of all the people, and they judge by them in all affairs with complete pleasure, with chests which are expanded and free of restraint or constriction, and they submit to Allaah and His Messenger (with) a complete submission in their 'aqeedah and their worship and their dealings. They are those concerning whom the statement of Allaah holds true:
The only saying of the faithful believers when they are called to Allaah and His Messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) to judge between them, is that they say, "We hear and we obey," and such are the prosperous ones.
Then the Atbaa'at-Taabi'een and at the head of them: Imaam Maalik (d. 179H), al-Awzaa'ee (d. 157H), Sufiyaan ibn Sa'eed ath-Thawree (d. 161H), Sufyaan ibn Uyayna (d. 198H), Ismaa'eel ibn Ubya??? (d. 193H), Layth ibn Sa'd (d. 175H) and Aboo Haneefah an-Nu'maan (d. 150H).
Then those who followed them and at the head of them: 'Abdullaah ibn al-Mubaarak (d. 181H), Wakee' ibn al-Jarraah (d. 197H), the Imaam Muhammad ibn Idrees ash-Shaafi'ee (d. 204H), 'Abdur-Rahmaan ibn Mahdee (d. 198H), Yahya ibn Sa'eed al-Qataan (d. 198H) and Afaan ibn Muslim (d. 219H).
Then their students who followed them in this methodology, and at the head of them: the Imaam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (d. 241H), Yahya ibn Ma'een (d. 233H) and 'Alee ibn al-Madeenee (d. 234H).
Then their students like al-Bukhaaree (d. 256H), Muslim (d. 261H), Abee Haatim (d. 277H), Abee Zara' (Aboo Zur'ah?) (d. 264H), Aboo Daawood (d. 275H), at-Tirmidhee (d. 279H) and an-Nasaa'ee (d. 303H).
Then those who proceeded in their way in the generations that preceded them, like Ibn Jareer (at-Tabaree?) (d. 310H), Ibn Khuzaymah (d. 311H), ad-Daaraqutnee (d. 385H) in his time, al-Khateeb al-Baghdaadee (d. 463H) and Ibn 'Abdul-Barr an-Niwaaree (d. 463H).
And 'Abdul-Ghanee al-Maqdasee (d. 620H), Ibn Salaah (d. 643H), Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728H), al-Mizzee (d. 743H), adh-Dhahabee (d. 748H), Ibn Katheer (d. 774H) and their contemporaries who lived in their time and those who came after them, and followed their footsteps in holding on to the Book and the Sunnah up until the present day.
These are who I mean by Ahlul-Hadeeth.
[Sheikh Rabee' bin Haadee al-Madkhalee; Makaanat Ahl ul-Hadith (trans. by Bilal Davies, forthcoming SP release)]
There are plenty of remaining scholars and all praise is due to Allaah. The Messenger of Allaah - صلى الله عليه و سلم - passed away and his noble companions remained after him. Ahmad ibn Hanbal passed away and his companions remained after him. Ibn Taymiyah passed away and his companions remained after him. Ibn `Abdul Wahaab passed away and his companions remained after him. The aforementioned scholars passed away and Inshaa-Allaah their students and brothers will remain [after them].
The truth will never be lost. When `Umar ibn al Khataab was stabbed, he advised:
"Indeed Allaah will not allow His religion to be lost!"
It was said to him: `Appoint a Caliph!`
He responded:
"Indeed Allaah will not allow his religion to be lost!"
So Allaah will never allow His religion to be lost. It is upon you to roll up your sleeves and be keen on upholding the banner of the Sunnah and the truth.
"There will continue to be a group who is victorious upon the truth, unharmed by those who degrade or oppose them, until the hour is established."
By Allaah, knowledge has not died, nor have the scholars, all praise is due to Allaah; The Committee of Major Scholars [remains], there is goodness and blessing in them and to Allaah belongs all praise, our brothers in ash Sham, and our brothers in Yemen. The world is full of senior students of knowledge who will fill this void and all praise is due to Allaah, so the people of falsehood should not rejoice.
I came across an article entitled: `To Jaheem [the hell fire] O Ibn `Uthaymeen`; It is most likely that such people are hypocrites who claim to be Muslims, Ibn `Uthaymeen to the Hell fire?!! The article then affirms that he is going to the Hell fire – ma shaa Allaah. Those who insult the companions of the Muhammad- صلى الله عليه و سلم -, the messengers, trifle with the Quraan and are leaders in falsehood are martyrs according to them and Ibn `Uthaymeen is the the hell fire?!!
He and those behind him, they are the ones in Jaheem, and whoever says: `The people are destroyed!` then he is the most destroyed one amongst them.` He is the most destroyed amongst them whether the meaning of the Hadeeth is; `he is the most destroyed amongst them` or `he is the one who destroyed them,` because he gains sin by this.
These people are blind, Allaah has blinded them, we seek refuge in Allaah from blindness.
Forbidding Sheikh Rabee' bin Haadee's Cassette Tapes
Question: How do you advise the one who forbids Shaykh Rabî’ bin Hâdî’s cassette tapes and claims that they erupt problems and chaos, that they contain praise of the rulers in Saudi Arabia and that his, that is, Shaykh Rabî’s, praise of the rulers is hypocrisy?
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymîn: We deem this to be an error and a serious mistake. Shaykh Rabî’ is one of the scholars of the Sunnah.
He is one of the people of goodness. His ‘Aqîdah (creed) is sound and his manhaj (methodology) is straight. However, when he started to speak against some individuals of later time whom some of the people deem to be role models, they defamed him with these defects. Do you understand?
Question : If a man comes seeking marriage, is he just to be judged with eemaan -as has reached us in the hadeeth of the slave-girl - and thus, we do not question him concerning his prayer? [Prayer is mentioned here; but it encompasses all is deeds and adherence to the commandments of Allaah.]
Answer : The one who will give (the girl) in marriage should ask about him and seek advice (from others).
Ask about his religion and character until you know that he is upon the religion and good character:
" When there comes to you one whose religion and character pleases you, then marry him off. If you do not, there will be corruption and great immorality in the land "
[Narrated by at-Tirmidhee (No. 1085) and he said: A hasan ghareeb hadeeth. And it was authenticated by Shaykh al-Albaanee in Irwaa'al ghaleel (No. 1868)].
So this is a responsibility: When you seek to engage in trade with a man, do you inquire in this manner about the man or, certainly you will ask about his faithfulness, trustworthiness and loyalty?
So certainly, take precaution for you are responsible for her:
" And each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock "
[Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (No. 4892) and Saheeh Muslim (No. 1829).]
(And) How will they live: if this one (i.e. the man seeking marriage) is immoral and does not pray? How will she live with him, when she is committed (to the religion)?
So there is no doubt; (of the importance) of questioning and researching until you know what is of this man, concerning good character and what is with him concerning the religion.
[Shaykh Rabee' al-Madkhalee]
Question: Is it permissible for us to insult those whom the scholars have insulted?
Answer: Insulting, no you should not insult. If he was declared an innovator and there is a need to clarify his condition then clarify. Say so and so is a mubtad'i (innovator), so and so has such and such with him. As for insulting then no, no insulting, do not insult if the scholars insulted him, you do not insult even if they judged him with a judgment that is rightful. If you see people being influenced by him in a harmful way then clarify his condition, so that the people can be cautious of his evil and safe from his evil. As for insulting then no, it does not benefit.
