oh goodness i have too many superhero ocs to choose from but here are two of my angels.... I would love to get some feedback on their designs if possible!

Dominic Sims (aka Moonager) He's the eldest member of my teen hero team. He's got a moon themed gimmick and can fly, shoot lunar blasts and create force fields :D He's a Black fem gay guy and a ballerina in his civvy life. He also has an interest in fashion and created his own suit! He is the designated mom friend of the group but I would also do a lot of fretting if my teammates were in the 9th grade

This is Ezra Cole (aka Nowhere Girl) She is Afro-Latina + white and part of a Philly based team of heroes! She TELEPORTS! She is a mechanic in her civvy life and has a lot of handy type hobbies (she likes keeping herself busy) she is also NOT normal about her favorite color (youll never guess what it is) she is the designated Hot friend because Look at her. she is also the "she asked for no pickles" girlfriend to another superheroine on her team and i care them

I would love any input you may have on my babies... love your blog! diversity in my ocs is v important to me and the more accurately and respectfully i can make them, the better!

It reminds me of the gay Black superhero (that was in Atlanta I wanna say?) and I swear he had this same energy, I wish I could remember his name but he used to do flips and shit on camera. Such an epic art piece!

And I'm sure Mr. CBC would love that Ezra supports a Philly based team 🤣 he loves the Eagles. For her, she's a doll, but make sure she's not falling into the spicy Latina stereotype. I don't think she inherently is, but that will show up with your writing. You have a very nice art style, I might have to find my way over 👀

I wish I could make white people(and not just white Americans) understand how diverse the pre-columbian Americas were. The history, religion, culture, politics was at least as complex as Europe's. There was the full gamut of religions, from monotheists to animists to ancestral religions. There were city building empires, village farmers, nomadic traders, and so many other ways to live. This is all just based on what we know, the fragments left behind and the stories of survivors of an apocalyptic plague. All this before the most extended campaign of genocide in history was waged in an attempt to wipe out those survivors.

Over 500 years spent trying to cut down a whole trunk of human culture.

Do you understand how much poorer our whole species is because of it? Can you imagine where art, religion, and science would be if we still had these vast bodies of knowledge? The stain of the colonial project will never be fully washed clean. We owe more than just the land to those we stole from. We owe them a whole future, a future that could have been brighter for all of us. If only greed and fear weren't allowed to rule this land.
