it’s really problematic of you to maintain the harmful binary of “you” and “not-you”. literally just join the hive already.
yeah sorry i actually don’t show up in photographs :/ it’s not a vampire thing i just don’t want to be there
I'm fatally wounded... And it's yours
i’d love the opportunity to fumble you catastrophically
british is not synonymous with white
european is not synonymous with white
the world is not divided into USA (melting pot), white countries and brown countries
"um you know the type of person I mean when I say british" hey do you think this line of thought may have Implications
huh. i am both wound and blade. neat.
clap if you're a black hole of a person and have never been satisfied
the most insidious thing about religious psychosis (at least in my experience) is that it’s so easy to enter and hard to escape. everything that is painful or difficult to reconcile becomes simple & meaningful & spiritually significant, and anything that contradicts you becomes a test or a punishment. the second most insidious thing is the stigma
Is ayn rand worth reading in a ‘get to know your enemy’ sorta way or nah
literally no
horror cinema is getting its flowers at the moment, but so few people seem to be talking about non-english language productions :/
if any of my followers are looking to expand their horizons a little, i cannot stress enough just how much chilean horror creatives are killing the game right now. some of my favourite films of the 2020s—la casa lobo in particular, but also algunas bestias and el conde—have barely made a splash in the international film circuit. but they should!
trying to explain why i like horror to people who don’t: ok so you know how it’s fun to be deeply disturbed and unsettled
Feels like a bad idea maybe
this gothic princess omgggg
one of the things i least enjoy about my current job is having to navigate other people’s incredibly fixed ideas about gender. someone is very upset with me for suggesting a cologne with notes of lavender—which of course i should have known was a Girl Scent. someone else has decided that calvin klein (the whole brand) is exclusively masculine. it’s boring! i’m bored!
cannibalism as a metaphor for killing and eating people
