Challenge Accepted Chapter 1 (Kasey POV)
Finally the start of my Senior Year. Spending the last three years in the UCLA dance program I'm ready to move on. I feel invincible as I step onto campus. After last year's showcase, I got an offer from my dream company. Now all I have to do is graduate. Six more months and I will be free from this campus.
Looking around I ignore everyone starting at me. I've gotten used to it over the last three years. You don't get the name Revolving Door without catching some attention.
See the thing is, while I excel in the dance studio. I fail in the romance department. Every relationship I've been in has turned into an epic disaster. I've been cheated on. Verbally abused. Once an ex threw a snow globe at me. Good thing I have good reflexes. Mostly though it is just a string of broken hearts. Mix my shitty taste in partners with an average relationship of 20 days... Well, rumors start to fly. It doesn't help that I tend to have a type. I have a thing for bad boys. The more tattoos and misunderstood the better.
Yet, after having my heart broken so many times I've sworn off dating. I need a larger dating pool. These college kids are stupid as fuck. Stepping into my studio I feel all of the tension leave my body. The studio is my safe place.
Setting up the camera on the floor I start to stretch out while I wait. Jacob and I have been running a successful YouTube channel since last year. We try to get together weekly to create new content. This week we will be doing a cover of Own It.
After a few moments, Jacob bursts into the studio one of his shoes untied and his hair is a mess. I'm honestly glad I didn't go back to the dorm. If the fresh hickey on his neck is any indication. Jacob has been messing around with Trevor again.
Shaking my head I walk over to the light switches turning them off until only the last row of lights is lit. Leaving both me and Jacob to dance in the shadows. A great way we have found to show our moves without dealing with people seeing our faces.
Watching back one of our takes I'm struck with how amazing Jacob is. As a sophomore, he is one of the best dancers in the entire department. I'm so glad I was assigned his mentor last year. Having a dancer you can bounce ideas off makes choreography so much better. After doing a few more takes I decide we've done enough and am ready for a nap.
Walking by the commons I stop to watch a group of guys play football. Biting my lip I let my eyes soak up the rippling muscles and toned abs. Hey, just because I've taken a vow of celibacy doesn't mean I can't look. I mean there is only so much a young gay man can take. Closing my eyes I let my imagination wander to a pair of tattooed arms holding me down. The man's lips running down my neck. Biting down on my collar bone to suck a hickey.
As the lips start to move towards my nipple a set of real hands grabs onto my shoulders. Jumping into the air with a squeak I turn around to see my best friend Trevor smirking. Sometimes I really hate that man. He knows too much.
"Dude Kase," if I didn't know any better I'd say you are strung out my man." He mocks as he hooks his chin on my shoulder. Trevor hums in appreciation at the football game in front of them.
"You need to get laid. It's been what three months?" Trevor his face contorted in a look of disgust. "No wonder you are so jumpy."
Shaking Trevor off I head back towards our dorm. Running my fingers through my curly brown hair I roll my eyes when Trevor places his arm on my shoulders. At 5' 5" I'm significantly shorter than Trevor's 6'. Something Trevor never lets me live down. Apparently, I make the best armrest.Entering the dorm I fall face-first onto the bed letting out a loud groan. My muscles throbbing from the hours of practice today. Ignoring my obvious pain Trevor plops his full weight onto me. Lifting my head I glare at Trevor before he grins and rolls off me.
"Party at the Music Frat tonight. You in?" Trevor sings songs as he plays with his phone. Rolling my eyes I throw a pillow at Trevor out of annoyance.
"Why would I go to a party with you?" I say rolling my eyes. "You will ditch me as soon as Jacob shows up." Rolling off the bed I head to the bathroom to take a shower. I know better than to go to a party with Trevor. Jacob will show up the two will get wasted and then bring their chaos back to the dorm. I do not want to spend yet another Friday night exiled from my own dorm.
Stepping back into the dorm a pair of jeans hit me in the face. Pulling them off I see Trevor standing in front of my closet pulling clothes out. Glancing to the bed I see my fishnets and mesh tank top have already been laid out. Sighing I move to get changed. I can tell that Trevor isn't going to take no for an answer tonight.
Looking in the mirror I can't help but think I look damn good. My curly brown hair has been styled for once. Adding a sexy yet casual air that accentuates my natural good looks. Grabbing my eyeliner I line my eyes with black. I don't like to wear a lot of makeup off stage. However, on nights like this where I'm going full bottom I crave it.
I may be off the market. But, I am conceited enough to want all eyes on me. Why else would I become a dancer? A couple of shots, some dancing, a little flirting. Now that I think about it. A party is just what I need. A challenge. If I can go to a Frat Party and leave without a hookup will be a major win.
