Lately I’m starting to see more posts to the effect of, “transmascs/non-trans-women are complaining that trans women are talking about JKR’s transmisogyny and don’t include them; guess what, not everything is about you!”

Which is such a disingenuous and in-bad-faith way of presenting transmascs pleas for the recognition of our pain.

What transmascs have been complaining about IS NOT that our oppression isn’t being talked about by trans women in their posts about JKR’s transmisogyny. We’ve been complaining about people who are non-trans-women making posts that only focus on JKR’s transmisogyny, or even outright say that she’s only been perpetuating transmisogyny.

These people we’re complaining about are not making posts focusing on their own struggles. They are people who are actively leaving out the harm done to transmascs when they post about what JKR has been perpetuating.
