I identify as a winged Bombay werecat and categorize myself as a psychological transspecies vacillant therian. My identity stems from both how I feel and who I am, and what I like. I am in a constant feline mental shift and have many traits that can be seen as feline as well. I experience species dysphoria around my body 24/7. I typically have feelings of being in the wrong body and feeling foreign in my own. Though I still love my human body. I have three forms. I am fully cat, felinoid (humanoid), or Felianthro.

What's pluronomy, you ask?

Simple! It's a combination of the words plural and autonomy.

It's the belief that you have the right to do what you want with your plurality as an extension of bodily autonomy, mental autonomy, and autonomy of beliefs.

I've seen folks say things like willing more alters and elaborating on fragments is bad because it's "worsening symptoms", that introjects need to source separate or source interact, that you need to see yourselves a certain way, that certain headmates and alters need to be treated a certain way, ect ect ect.

Pluronomy says to that "not your system, not your choice!" Pluronomy says do whatever you& want. This term is for folks who want more headmates, want to engage with that source in a fucky way. Those syskids and littles who don't want to be coddled, those in-sys relationships that are just reenactments that don't want to break up. Those "harmful" headmates who don't want to "get better". This term is for YOU!!!

It can also fall under the Mad pride and Mad punk movements for CDD having plurals and other disordered plural friends.

This term and is pro willo, pro endo, ect, but anyone can use it because gatekeeping terms is lame as hell.

ANIMAL is a new independent literary magazine devoted to featuring works by individuals with animal identities, including furries and animal-identifying alterhumans. We are seeking literature and art from individuals who identify with or as an animal in any capacity, be it through gender, spirituality, or/and another one of the many ways one can be animal. As a catch-all for such communities, we use the phrase furry&alterhuman, with a non-spaced ampersand to represent animals who exist around, between, and in both communities.

Our mission is to build a community founded on the celebration of animal-made literary works. Through this project we hope that we can further understanding and respect for our communities.

"Welcome to the Wonderful World of the MidContinuum! The dissociative continuum, that is."

Continuum (definition)

"A coherent whole characterized as a collection, sequence, or progression of values or elements varying by minute degrees"

MidContinuum coined by Vicki(s) in 1996 where she stated:

"Everyone dissociates. At one end of the dissociative continuum is "normal" or "common" dissociation that nearly everyone engages in, such as daydreaming, highway hypnosis or other forms of spacing out, or getting lost in a book. At the other end are the behaviors that characterize "classical" multiples, who may have large numbers of very distinct insiders with little internal communication, serious difficulties with time loss, amnesia, and so on. Between these two extremes, there is a lot of gray. Ranging from having different "roles" that you live out in different situations, to having an "inner child" or "inner children" with varying degrees of separateness, to having "ego states", "parts" or "fragments" that don't seem to be whole people, to having some but not all of the diagnostic criteria for what is now known as DID, Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly MPD, Multiple Personality Disorder). "

Median coined in 2002 by Blackbirds where they state:

"It's probably much more realistic, given social and personal diversity, to think of plurality as a sphere, with a potentially infinite number of points; and, to remember that at different times in one's life, one may reside at any of those points, or at no fixed abode. Postmodernist notions of identity as fluid and nonlinear may be helpful in understanding this. If you experience yourself as selves, but feel that your others are not independent of yourself, you are probably median. It's important to allow the concept to be inclusive of everyone who fits, regardless of past abuse history or origins, much as is currently being done for 'multiplicity.' With its roots in the abuse-dissociation model, midcontinuum is too limiting; it is no longer useful to us. Median creates a certain measure of psychological distance and gives the concept a fresh start, without the "dissociative" baggage of the past, and embraces all who feel they are more than one."

Pavillion Hall stated that the reason for MidContinuum falling out of favor wasn't (or at least not just) because it didn't include thoes who do not dissociate, but because it was to loosely defined

Pavilion Hall: Voices of Plurality in Action was an organization that described themselves as "dedicated to raising public awareness of healthy multiplicity through positive activism"

Later on, Astraea credits Blackbirds (who helped found Pavilion) with the creation of the term "median," saying "The reason we chose median, a word suggested by the Blackbirds, was that it seemed to encompass multiples who did not dissociate in addition to those who did" (2008, May 11). But that isn't the original explanation given for why the term was rejected. In 2002, Lancers and Pavilion rejected "midcontinuum" for its fluidity. "The original idea of Mid-Continuum was designed to be loose, and therein lay the problem - it was entirely /too/ loose. Multiples and Mid-Conts were not quite sure where the lines lay between them. It was used to describe a massive ‘shades of grey’ area between singlet and multiple. Unfortunately, there was no clear idea of where these ‘shades of grey’ actually ended, though they began at anything more than single" (Phoenix, 2002 December 13). They then go on to regurgitate the Fires theory, and how what differentiates medians from multiples isn't any different position on a spectrum, but that they have only one "fire."

Astraea defined Median on their glossary

Probably the main characteristic distinguishing medians from singlets and multiples is the presence of more than one person in the body, but without the independence of persons in a multiple system. Persons in a median system may be dependent upon a single individual (who may have created them at some point), and unable to exist without that central person. Some people in a hosting situation might think of themselves as median. Others describe something like Kiya's situation, or Adriel's. In her book Black Milk author Elif Shafak talks about her "finger women" (picturing them as tiny replicas of herself); each of them is Elif Shafak, but with distinctive styles and interests. The challenge is to coordinate them all so that all are respected and none is set aside or of lesser importance. She speaks of it as facing her "inner diversity" and learning to "be One."
