TADC Theory

warning: spoilers for episode 8

So… that episode ripped my heart out! I was NOT expecting Caine to just die. My neighbors probably thought I was being murdered based on the scream I let out. 😭 So to cope I decided to write out my theories and post them based on what happened! I know that there are others who would be much better at explaining this, but it’s just me up here in the old think machine! So here we go!

The final episode comes out on June 19th. Mayhaps freedom is in the blorbos future?

I’m not going to touch the “Caine ate the second AI theory” cause others have already theorized in a much more sophisticated way than my sleep deprived ramblings, but it was something that I immediately noticed.

Gangle was hit by a car when Caine messed with them. Jax has had visions of himself driving. Are they connected somehow? Has someone else already explained this and I’m only just now catching on to it?

this isn’t a theory, more a question, but what happens to the abstracted characters now that Caine is gone? Will they be set loose? Will they just be deleted? Idk but if anyone has any ideas I’d love to hear them!

following this, if Jax runs into an abstracted Ribbet, he’s probably going to abstract. (I was really disappointed that Ribbet didn’t show up in a flash back, so I’m hoping that she shows up in the finale 🤞)

But hey, that’s just a theory, A TADC THEORY! alright, that’s it for after my first watch through. Maybe I’ll notice some more details and come up with more theories after I complete my frame by frame, but I probably won’t post them. Color Symbolism

so I was rewatching BBC Merlin last night, and a thought popped into my head: hey! The costumes are using color theory to convey symbolism! So like any mature young adult, I decided to ramble about it on tumblr. I noticed that the sorcerers were usually in blue, and Uther, Arthur, and the knights were all in red, creating a divide not only in the story, but in appearance as well. This especially applies to Morgana. She is often in blues, purples, and greens. Especially in the episode I was watching, which was one where she betrays Uther. Green is the opposite of red on the color wheel, causing it to be complementary, which to me indicates that Morgana is both different and far too similar to him. And Merlin wears both red and blue, symbolizing how he is both on the side of magic and on the side of Arthur. And when he gets spelled to kill Arthur, he wears purple, which is a color that I noticed a few of the antagonist magic users wear. Idk, this is all just my observations and opinions.

Last Book: Just wanna say first, I LOVE Andy Weir’s books. Last book I read was Hunger by Micheal Grant, 2nd book in the Gone series. SO good, best books I’ve read in a while, but not for the faint of heart. Not so far removed from The Maze Runner, which I LOVE, as a dystopian that focuses on teenagers. However it is bloodier and more…fantasy-esque you could say, although it’s not fantasy like you might be picturing.

My last song: I’ve been obsessing over the Epic and Jekyll & Hyde musicals, so either that or Mindless Self Indulgence!

Last book: the last one I finished was The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, but the one I’ve started newly is The Picture of Dorian Gray!

Last movie: probably Marry Reilly, I’ve taken upon myself to try and catch up with most J&H shows. I couldn’t finish it, but I’ve gotten close to the end!

Last TV show: Penny Dreadful! I wanted to get to the part where Jekyll appears but for now it’s not such a bad show, be careful if you want to watch with someone tho, it has so many s#x scenes and they drag them out a bit…

Favorite color: I really love blue! Any hue of it, but mostly sky blue and the softer ones.

Spicy, sweet or savory: depends on the food, but sweet or sour! (Ik sour wasn’t mentioned but I love sour foods)

Current obsession: Jekyll & Hyde, but mostly detective/horror mashes. I’ve been obsessing over Sherlock Holmes since I was like 7 so there’s that too.

Last search: I think this means as in last google search or something? It was “Jorge from epic” to show my sister hshs

Looking forward to: honestly, a new chapter of that one fanfic I read but they’re taking a hiatus from it to work on another fic.

Other than that, I’ve made an agreement with my dad so soon I’ll have a new electric guitar!! I’m so excited!

last book I’ve read: was probably ‘the hidden kingdom’ (3rd book in the wings of fire series by Tui T. Sutherland), but I haven’t finished it, so IDW sonic vol.2 collection is close enough

last movie: K-pop demon hunters & wake up dead man (the 3rd knifes out movie)

last tv show: I finished the sonic prime series on Netflix, but right now my mom & I are rewatching poker face on peacock
