#'the got an update a little while back after 9 years of radio silence and this is kind of how i feel about it #was it good before? ehhh my opinion varies. but at least it was evocative and concise #though confusing and brief it had good room for interesting interpretations and the moment to moment was neat #plus the novel position of being a super mario world horror romhack does some good lifting #timeloop works naturally there #and the update... is EXTREMELY technically proficient #but it immediately collapses under its own weight. none of this stuff was meant to be properly explained #and it never should have had any other major characters.#And Also The Fuckingggg Facility. God Dammit.#still really cool audiovisual spectacle though. they do some awesome stuff with the snes
