⨠We Are So Close. Please Donāt Look Away! āØ
My name is Suheila, a mother of five children.
Thanks to your kindness, weāve reached $12,200 of our $14,000 goal š¤
Since the ceasefire was declared, many people think things in Gaza are āover.ā
But the truth is nothing has materially changed for us.
There is still destruction everywhere.
Food is still scarce.
Clothes are still a need, not a luxury.
Because of the ceasefire, donations have slowed, but our suffering has not ended š
My husband is still wounded and unable to work, and I am doing everything I can to keep my children safe, fed, and warm. We still urgently need money for food, clothing, and daily survival.
More than anything, I hope to leave Gaza as soon as possible so my children can have a future, but leaving requires resources we simply do not have yet.
We are so close now. Every donation, no matter how small, truly makes a difference.
Every share helps us move one step closer to safety, stability, and hope š
Please donāt stop supporting us now.

My name is Mohammed, I live in Gaza City and I am 19 years old. I have lived through the full horrors of war ā hunger, displacement, fear, relentless bombings, destruction, and so many other painful experiences š„¹š.I never created a donation link before, and I havenāt received any kind of help throughout this devastating war š„²š.
I was so happy when the ceasefire was announced, and I dreamed of starting a small shop to earn a living. But sadly, the war returned ā even more violent and destructive than before š.Our area has now been declared a dangerous combat zone, and we lost our home ā the only shelter we had š.
Worst of all, my father was seriously injured: he tragically lost one of his hands and an eye, and he is now completely unable to work or support our family š„²š.
Prices have skyrocketed, and we have no source of income. Iām launching this donation campaign now with a broken heart but a little hope š„².
Please, for the sake of humanity and for the sake of my family, consider making a donation to help us survive šš.
I just created the donation link, hoping that someone out there might lend a helping hand.
My name is Mohammed. I am 18 years old and live in Gaza City. I am still at the beginning of my life, dreaming of a better future. My father

Over the past few days, I asked for your help to cover Eid expenses and to buy medication for my parents. Yesterday, we experienced a very nearby airstrike that caused significant damage, including damage to our tent.
We are living with fear every moment. Every minute feels uncertain, and the war has never truly ended. The situation continues to worsen, and I could lose my life at any moment. Please do not forget my family and loved ones. Any support you can provide, even to help us repair the damage, would mean so much to us. We urgently need your help. These are some photos showing the damage and the area that was bombed. Please support and help us in any way you can. We need everything.šš

In Jurassic Park, one of the scenes that I believe impacted my life in a way I couldn't imagine then was when Dr. Alan Grant saw the Brachiosaurus for the first time.
Sam Neill's performance there, capture the amazement I had seeing that seemingly living, breathing dinosaur for the first time.
I can't imagine the amount of people who'm Sam Neill has inspired among his many roles.
RIP. Hope you're catching up Sir Richard Attenborough in the afterlife.
not sure if itās ānewā but in the past couple days, my friends and I have each been receiving about dozens of this exact message with the exact same script from various random blogs.
but instead of empty blogs that are very obviously bots, these blogs all have profile pictures and reblogs on their blogs like any other normal blogs. although if you scroll down far enough, most of them are very recently created, with the first ever reblogs from their blogs being from less than a week ago ā which makes me think theyāre newly created blogs with reblogs and profile pictures, so that theyāre not very obviously bots anymore. but they all use the same script.
obviously I did not contact them, and I have all of them blocked and reported. because I know if I did contact them, they would try and convince me that my blog was somehow ācompromisedā one way or another, and then theyād say Iād have to contact this random guy on discord (instead of tumblr support) and then Iād have to change the email I associated my blog with to their new email that they gave me. then boom. the second my blog was registered with their email, they had control of everything, and chances were that Iād never be able to get my blog back. or worse, they had access to my personal information too. itās all the same scam tactics.
do NOT fall for them. do NOT contact any shady, random person on discord or any other platform. the ONLY way you contact support when you have an issue with your blog is directly through tumblr support. not a random guy on discord.
Iām not disclosing their url because even though Iām 90% sure itās a bot, I donāt want to accidentally send people to harass an innocent person in case of the blog having originally belonged to an innocent person before they were hacked. because when these scammers/bots hack someoneās blog, they use the blog to further scam other people, since the blog was originally a legit blog, it wonāt look āempty and obviously a botā.
As others have pointed out before, if you visited a web page 20 years ago and it acted like that, you would rightly assume your computer had gotten a virus.
Imagine person A lightly tracing āI love youā over and over again on person Bās back, assuming that person B is asleep. When person A is lying on their back, getting ready to sleep, person B moves closer and wraps their arms around person A, whispering softly, āI love you too.ā Bonus if thatās the first time person A has ever declare their love for person B.
Many people in the comments are saying ātraumaā, but this is actually a very normal occurrence. Itās called Childhood Amnesia, and itās a process which, as the brain reorganizes itself for cognitive thought that is developed in late childhood, it changes the Accessibility of those memories during recall. Many childhood memories are available to the person, but they will not be remembered during regular recall activity, you have to ātrickā your brain into remembering with different tactics.
This is because there are two parts to memories - their encoding and their recall. The encoding determines their availability, their recall determines their accessibility. The reason why trauma memory and childhood amnesia are different is in this distinction. Trauma memory is often encoded differently, bypassing to the limbic system where it is stored as intrinsic memory. It canāt be recalled because it was never encoded. Childhood amnesia, however, seems to indicate that the memories are encoded, but we lose access to them as we age. This is most likely due to the development of brain structures that fundamentally change our encoding and recall of memory as we get older.
This is an important distinction, because trauma memory is āstored in the bodyā, i.e. you get triggers that send your body into a cascade of uncontrollable feelings, sensations and reactions. Whereas childhood memories wonāt generally do that, they are just recalled at odd times with odd associations.
reblogging this because Iāve legit seen people freaking out when they realised they canāt remember some of their childhood, thinking they might have some repressed trauma.
I have no idea what this trope is called, but I've seen it a few times and I love it, when a characters catching themselves daydreaming about their rival/enemy/frienemy and they tweak out like: "OH GOOOOOOOOOD"
