what's peculiar about your soul?

Your soul is... Volatile

There is a deep, painful energy harbored within this soul… At its very core festers malice, and a deeply rooted pain that craves nothing more but to inflict itself onto everything around it. Special care has been given to it- to stop examiners from coming into any harm should they draw too near to it. You coil like a serpent, awaiting a moment to strike. To claim your revenge. The wizard made a slight scrunch of his nose... Where did he want to go? He didn't think anything of it.

"... Anywhere that isn't... The bedchamber," he said, not really knowing with what to respond. But also, answering with what he was most certain of.

"... You make it sound as though you want to spend time with me."

"Of course I do. You're still my patient; you may feel better, but you're not completely well yet." Did he just...scrunch his nose? Okay, that wasn't an uncommon gesture among humans, but on him it was just...weirdly cute. "We can go anywhere in this huge castle, then."

She would accompany him, of course. Like some, humorously petite add-on to the old wizard's side. Oddly, she fit in well beside Ommadon, her red dress and wavy raven hair matching his own. They'd make quite an interesting pair.

Adara had taken to pointing out 'landmarks' within Loathly Tower, like some deranged, stir crazy tour guide. She hoped it would make him laugh. "And past the kitchen, we have the, Big Round Table Room. Famous for it's Big, Round Table. Rumor has it Ommadon's current nurse plays Solitare on it when he's asleep." The flame woman gave him a conspiratorial 'shush' with a finger to her lips. "But you didn't hear it from me!"

"Well, consider me among the uncivilized. Especially where wine is concerned," the red wizard answered. And still he eyed the pint of ice cream cautiously, inching away from Adara as she moved it forward. But after a moment, he slowly moved back into position.

His gaze switched from Adara, to the spoon, to Adara, then to the spoon again, before he willed himself to take hold of the spoon, his face cringing as he did so. And with a breath, he scooped a small spoonful of the ice cream, eying it with utmost uncertainty.

With a very cautious breath, he brought it closer... And started licking.

"..So, you're a boozehound?" Why was she not surprised? Adara had seen a wine cellar durring her exploration of Ommadon's castle, though pre-existing caution prevented her from going inside. Fire should not be around alcohol, in any form.

And then, he started licking the ice cream. She tried not to snicker; something about his cautious actions were strangely adorable. "Uh, yeah. Yeah, that'll work. It won't give you brainfreeze if you just eat it a little at a time...." The flame woman needed to be encouraging right now. Laughing would just ruin it.

Perhaps it was her attempts to look anywhere except at a grown man licking ice cream like a kitten that lead her eyes to his dark hair. "Oh...you've got bed head." And, Adara needed a distraction. "I think I got something...yeah, there we go!" In one swift motion, she fished a rather thick hairbrush from her bag of holding. It was modern-made: sturdy plastic rather than boar's bristles. "Mind if I brush your hair?"

What a boring way to eat something...! Of course there's been the odd times where he's had a meal with his wizardly brothers. And oh, how Carolinus would chastise him over table manners. It got to a point where eating with them was simply no fun at all.

But what he noticed this time was that his head did not ache... And in fact...

... He enjoyed what he was tasting. A very begrudging thought that came to mind as he took up another spoonful.

"Wait-- what did you call me?" he started again, pausing for a moment to look at the flame woman, one ear perked up and a brow quirked. To her question his ears twitched as he contemplated the offer.

It has been some time since he's had a good brushing.

"... No bows."

9. What does your character smell like?

"Given my close proximity to Bryagh on the day to day, of course that smell of fire and brimstone is bound to linger. Even to my nose, it's not what I would call pleasant."

What kind of games does your character most enjoy playing?

Does your character have a secret hobby?

"... I can guess a few riddles, but even that tends to become a bore after a time. Jousting? I've thought of it a time or two. Alas, my life schedule leaves me with very little time to partake. It's a thought."

The red wizard clasped his hands.

"Now secret hobbies, on the other hand? Well..."

"They're meant to be secret. So why would I tell you about them?"

Evil wizard tasteful pin-up magazine but it's all photos of like, skinny old goths coyly fingering cursed amulets, long-bearded sorcerers doing the 'oopsie' pose as their corrosive destruction spell destroys enough of their own robes to show some skin, naked desiccated lich king positioning his staff of human skulls just so it leaves something to the imagination, dark knights in full armor just holding their soul-eating blades out in front of their codpieces, orc chieftain who did not understand the assignment and is posing with a monster he killed like one of those guys-with-fish photos. Or maybe he DID understand the assignment. Hmm.
