Twenty Premades for Twenty Years (and counting!) 🎉 ...Yes I know I'm late

A little late to the party (it's been a busy past few weeks) but I started this before the anniversary came and went and still wanted to share it. I picked sims based on personal preference, popularity, and trying to avoid redundancy, so unfortunately some were left out on account of that (sorry Vidcund, Mpreg Pascal wins here). Showing the different ages was important to me as that was introduced in TS2 and became a series staple. Only twenty of the base game premades was a tough choice but I think this works well at displaying the premade stories and unique gameplay of our beloved Sims 2.

Pride Month Camo Face Paint

Happy pride month everyone! To celebrate I have a little gift for your simmies. This is a camo face paint, based off of the base game version, in a variety of pride flag swatches. Available for all ages and genders! I was inspired to make this for Tank Grunt, who is gay in my game (but deep in the closet as of now). Hopefully one day he'll find the courage to celebrate like his photoshoot self, but your sims can celebrate right now! Enjoy 🏳‍🌈

I'm Back!

Hey everyone, long time no see. I've been lurking around, though I think I'm ready to truly come out of hiding and break back into the Simblr scene. I'm in a much better place mentally, I have actual plans for the future, my school situation is stable, and I'm coping much better than I once did. So, I think it's time to get back to my hobbies, especially this blog. I can't say I've played the game much during my hiatus, I've mostly been playing a variety of other games, though I haven't been without the Sims. I've been learning the ins and outs of Milkshape and can do some basic meshing work. I've also continued my constant building of neighborhoods I plan to one day get to playing and posting. I don't plan to suddenly start posting regularly. I just want to start small, share some projects I've worked on and really just get back to interacting with you guys. Thank you all for waiting and stay tuned because there's a post coming later today!

Hiatus Announcement

Hey everyone, I’ve been gone for a while and that’s unfortunately not changing anytime soon. Real life has been difficult, my aunt recently passed away and I’m at a point where I’m just trying to figure out what to do with my life. I’m still enjoying the Sims, but I have less time for it now and posting just isn’t fitting into that time. So, I’m officially announcing a hiatus, I will be back eventually, just not yet. I do have a post planned for tomorrow that I’m pretty proud of, though nothing after that for now. Who knows, maybe I’ll be back in a week or two, but I just can’t make any promises right now and would rather give you all a heads up into what’s going on. I’ll still be lurking around, so I won’t miss any messages. One exception to this hiatus is requests, I’ll still take them if you send them, so feel free to. I appreciate all of you who support me in this little corner of the internet, thank you for your continued support.

2023 Simming Goals

I’m once again setting my yearly goals (which likely won’t be completed).

1. Play through Strangetown at least until the current kids are adults. Yes, I’m putting this again.

2. Finish Gen 2 of the Midnight Sun Challenge.

3. Start two new hoods!

Hopefully just these three goals are less ambitious than last year. Happy New Year!

2022 Simming Goals

Some of my favorite simblrs were doing this and I thought it could help me lay out a plan for the year.

1. Play through Strangetown at least until the current kids are adults.

2. Fix SimPE, Mootilda’s Hoodchecker, and the Clean Installer.

3. Get back to Isle of the Midnight Sun Challenge.

4. Start another new hood (maybe a custom one?)

5. Maybe start a story I’ve had on the back of my mind for ages…maybe.

Happy New Year! Thought I’d go over what I did and didn’t accomplish before posting next year’s goals.

1. ✖ I’m honestly surprised I didn’t get this done, but hey, there’s always next year.

2. ✔ Thankfully, yes, this was fixed. It was putting me off from playing for the longest time but now I feel like I have my groove back.

3. ✔ Yes, and I’d like to play even more this year!

4. ✖ Technically no, however there are a few hoods that I believe should be on the horizon fairly early on this year.

5. ✖ Definitely too ambitious, I don’t expect this to come anytime soon.
