I bought so many Batman movies (bent and dent collection, 99¢) and I haven't even watched them yet
I know who Dent is in the context of Batman, but who is Bent?

I'm old enough to remember adults arguing about whether there was a place for electric guitar in country music. I now live in an age where electronic percussion is a regular thing on country radio.
WANTED: A MAN (this is important) WHO WILL FETCH MY MAGNIFICENT MIDDLE SISTER COFFEE.

MUST BE OVER FIVE TEN (no wait she changed her mind you may still apply for this position if you are five eight)
MUST NOT HAVE GIRLY HANDS
MUST NOT BE NAMED FRED
MUST NOT BE IMMUNE TO HER FEMININE WILES

Never mind! She has decided she is a strong independent woman and she don't need no man. She has gone to fetch her own coffee.

what do business majors even do i just assume that all their classes are just them all doing the business card scene from american psycho for an hour
That's the 400 level classes. The 100-300 level classes are learning to do the business card scene from American Psycho for an hour.

I was thinking that if I did this poll, "other" would win by a landslide, since TMBG have so many songs. But then I realized I wouldn't know until I tried. So here it is.
I’m still shook, even now at 5am on a Thursday, over what I witnessed a few days ago in the Barnes & Noble Starbucks. Absolutely shook.
Two grown-ass men, obviously friends but dressed like they were in two different high school cliques, were arguing, passionately about who Gerard Way was. The one wearing a Green Lantern shirt and thick-rimmed hipster glasses said that Gerard Way is the lead singer of My Chemical Romance. The other guy was wearing what I wore during my emo phase in middle school, mostly black with a skinny red tie and a grey vest, was arguing that Gerard Way was a comic book writer.
Then a third person comes up, obviously another friend as she put down a tray of drinks for the three of them, looking like she could’ve been a Kappa Nu with Elle Woods, and asks “What dumb thing are you two arguing about now?”
The two men reply. Elle Woods’ sorority sister says “They’re the same damn person, you idiots. He does both things.”
Absolutely shook. I feel like I witnessed the utopia suggested by the end of High School Musical where everyone from all the different cliques are friends and Wildcats or some shit…
Rarer D&D alignments
Bastard Good: You make the world better for people but in a really obnoxious way so everyone low-key hates you for it
Chaotic Dead: You set yourself on fire at the start of each session
Informed Evil: you're wearing a red cape and cackling so we kind of assume you've probably done some bad things off screen, right?
Lawful Pointless: You follow the rules of chess in every situation you find yourself in.
False Neutral: HAHA FOOLS! I WAS NO DRUID! I WAS A PALADIN ALL ALONG!
Lawful Anxious: You follow very strict laws but you don't know what those laws are or if you're breaking them.
Personal Evil: rather then making things worse for sapient life, you work to make things worse for Steve specifically. Everyone else is fine.
Centrist Neutral: "I don't support The Chained God Tharizdun breaking free and unmaking all reality but if we stop him through force we're just as bad as he is. Did you know there's actually zero difference between good and bad things?"
Sponsored Good: You provide justice, compassion and the great taste of subways sandwiches! Put in the code SMITETHESINNERS when ordering online for 20% off!
Sexy Lawful: You follow very strict rules but in such a way we kind of suspect you're getting off on it.
Chaotic Incidental: You act completely randomly but by sheer chance your actions turn out identical to if you followed very strict rules.
Theoretical Good: You want to do good things to help the world and once you stop binging Netflix you're absolutely going to.
Ugly Neutral: None of the other alignments want to hang out with you so you're neutral by default
Chaotic Meta: You pointedly refuse to follow the rules of the game you're playing.
Thirsty Evil: Look, orcs are hot, ok?

What makes this even funnier to me is that Michael Jackson supposedly set out to cast himself as Peter Parker in a Spider Man movie.

I read a study years ago stating that the average life paths (my rephrasing, they looked at specific outcomes) of children with single mothers don't differ from those of children with stepfathers. The researchers misinterpreted the data to mean that stepfathers aren't an influence in any real way. What the data actually means is that good stepfathers bring as much good as bad stepfathers bring bad. For every person who commits suicide because of a stepfather's abuse (and we, as people living in the real world, know that happens), a person doesn't feel the urge to commit suicide or overcomes the thoughts because of the love and support of a stepfather, whether that's consciously or unconsciously the saving influence. If you're a stepfather, do not underestimate the importance of that role. And if you're thinking about marrying a woman with children, don't take the role on lightly. And if you're a single mother, consider carefully who you bring into your home with your children. Probably the same thing if it's a single father situation, but the study didn't address that.
The pain of violently philosophically disagreeing with a really banging song.
