Sometimes, a bit of wandering around the premises helped Riju clear her mind, take in the fresh Gerudo air and bask in the loving citizens that lived where she ruled. Reddened locks swayed gracefully in the sweltering hot wind that brushed through the palm trees, occasional shade gracing her with the help of her tall bodyguards. Gerudo would always hold the young cheiftain’s heart, a town so warm emotionally and physically, tying her tightly to her late mother. Of course, Riju loved her town, adored it. But sometimes, a dull aching pain in her heart called out for more than this. For more than her eyes could reach; mountains and greenery galore, farm animals running wildly alongside their owners, the smell of foods she had never tasted in the air. The outside world had beckoned out to her, a call she unfortunately could not answer.
After the Thunderhelm was restored after being taken, security had been tighter than ever, especially on her. No roaming past dusk, no lonely venturing, the farthest she could go was the bazaar. Riju didn’t let the opportunity fail her, albeit a small one. ❝ I’d like to take a walk to the bazaar today, Buliara. ❞ And so, with the request, off the two went.
The familiarity of sand and sun washed over her, the path to the bazaar she knew too well. Same trees, same merchant stores, same... Person passed out in the sand? Wandering eyes caught an unfamiliar form, disheveled navy hair decorated with tan flecks of sand. So close to sanctuary, yet the heat had bested the vai. ❝ Buliara, quickly! ❞ Riju darted off-course towards the unconscious woman, quickly being chased by her personal bodyguard.
