oh no his cute little happy bounces!!!
This is actually, non-ironically, a great way of asking about benefits and company culture without asking about those things directly.
TIL that a New York University study found that people with easier-to-pronounce names have higher-status positions at work.
“The most disrespected person in America is the black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America is the black woman.”
-Malcolm X (1962)
Another young black woman dead. Drive by shooting. I fucking hate this world.
HER NAME IS NA’KIA CRAWFORD!!!! SAY HER NAME!!!
Out of Touch
Out of touch Thursday is genuinely the only thing keeping my concept of time stable while in quarantine
Saying Uma Thurman is too old to reprise her role as Poison Ivy at 49 is a weak and sexist take. How old do you think Robert Downey Jr and Mark Ruffalo are? Let Harley have her milf.
just saying
The plantiff, Aimee Stephens, passed away in May before she could see the verdict in this case.
She was fired for coming out as trans and brought her fight all the way to the Supreme Court get all of us employement protections.
Remember her and how her fight brought us our rights
Ms. Stephens was fired from her job after she announced that she would live as a woman. Her complaint is now before the Supreme Court.
Covid is not over and black lives still matter. Stop trying to "go back to normal" when shit is still happening.
Stop going on trips and going to restaurants without masks.
Keep educating yourself and protesting and calling and donating and signing petitions.
Wear a mask. End white supremacy. Defund police.
I know it's tiring but it's not over for either thing even though people are pretending it is. I know the overlap is exhausting. But be safe, social distance, and keep fighting the good fight.
Watch: Poet Porsha Olayiwola heartbreakingly reminds us all that black women’s lives matter too.
“Men and boys are seen as the primary target of racial injustice,” AAPF associate director Rachel Gilmer told TakePart in May. “This has led to the idea that women and girls of color are not doing as bad, or that we’re not at risk at all.”
But studies show otherwise: Black women are killed and sexually assaulted by the police, and incarcerated at almost three times the rate of their white female counterparts. Yet news coverage of these cases are focused largely on the relationship between law enforcement and black men.
From the linked article above. None of this diminishes the importance of any Black Lives Matter protests or the lives of black men.
Reblogged for the important infographic

Brilliant defense mechanism. The hawks can’t get you if you’re under a tree.
