Sadness comes in waves, but the joy I’ve found in Christ is steadfast. It is unmovable. I can feel sad in the moment, or even for a whole season, but still have joy. Why? Because the joy we find in God is deeply rooted into our hearts. I link this joy directly to the hope I have in Jesus. Even in sadness I remain hopeful, and this is why my joy still exists. Where Jesus is, there is hope. And where hope is, there is joy. So if you want everlasting joy, know Jesus.
