tbh potato is easily in the top 10 reasons to live
finding a term that you’ve never heard before but it resonating with you so deeply is a really cool experience
and that is why research on queer identities, whether gender, sexuality, or romance, is so needed!
from Ace Voices by Eris Young
Oh yeah I was confused because one of my friends was horny as fuck but also said they were ace. But they told me it's only media and not irl, and I think there's a lot of y'all in fandoms.
Reblog because it might enlighten a wild ace roaming out there in the tall grass.
fanfiction is a rare gem and a solid, living proof that, in a world of tiktok, influencers and content posting, not everything is about money and going viral. art can still be art just for the sake of the artists’ pure love, joy and passion for the art they create. fanfic writers write 100k words and more about the characters they love for free. just because they love these characters and the art of writing so much. art is not dead and the world is still beautiful.
shoutout to fanfiction and fanfic writers
yes thissss! fanfic and all fan related works bring me boundless joy! i love you fanfic writers, i love you fanart creators, i love you all who so generously let us be part of the workings of their mind❤
TK STRAND & CARLOS REYES 9-1-1: LONE STAR (2020— ) S03E13: Riddle of The Sphynx
kicks me in the ribs everytime i see this
I’m so pro abortion I feel insane hearing any other take on it
Even lefties I know will eventually concede to some situation where they think it’s right to force someone to carry a child against their will as if that’s not one of the most inhumane and cruel situations to put someone in regardless of any other factors
Preserving prev's tags:
i think very few people understand how devastating physically + mentally pregnancy is
its not waiting 9 months for a baby to pop out
i have relatives who developed multiple organ failure from it
i have relatives who spent weeks in the ER with postpartum psychosis and never fully recovered from it
you can abruptly develop new diseases
your organs can be permanently altered
you can suddenly have diabetes that lasts as long as you're pregnant
you can suddenly develop new allergies. including to your own pre-existing tattoos and piercings
a hole can open inbetween your vagina and rectum and let shit flow into your vagina. yes really
giving birth is exorbitantly expensive especially if you want to be comfortable or have pain management at all
media shows it as being short but it is an extremely long process
if you abruptly give birth at home with no support or ability to go to a doctor you're just going to be in level 10 pain for at least a day
and even through all of that you and the baby still might die. from an otherwise 'healthy' pregnancy
the baby can get stuck and wrapped in its own cord and not come out and kill you both
and this all still happens with modern medicine. humans are actually not very good like biologically at giving birth
its an immensely excruciating and dangerous process for us that has killed thousands upon thousands. millions maybe throughout history
u cannot force someone into that under any circumstances man
Happy ace week to asexual women, who are too often treated as “frigid bitches who need to suck it up and tend to their partners’ sexual needs.” Happy ace week to asexual men — and especially asexual trans men — whose asexuality is too often treated as something that makes them less of a man. Happy ace week to asexual nonbinary and genderqueer people, who are too often written off as “just trying to be special.” Happy ace week to disabled aces, whose ability to know their sexual orientation is too often called into question and whose asexuality is too often treated as less legitimate than the asexuality of able bodied neurotypicals. Happy ace week to aces of color, who are too often fetishized and treated as less ace than white aces. Happy ace week to trans and intersex ace, whose bodies are so often treated as obscene, who are so often asked invasive questions about their bodies and sex lives which would be uncomfortable even if they weren’t ace.
May we someday live in a world that respects the right to say no forever, to never consent to sex. May we someday live in a world where it isn’t treated as a rejection to not feel sexually attracted to a romantic and/or sexual partner. May we someday live in a world where asexuality is treated not as a problem to be fixed but as a normal variation of human sexuality. May we someday live in a world where people learn to stop conflating their own sexual desire towards a person with that person being allosexual. May we someday live in a world that respects asexuality.
My Beloved.
I told you, you’re his favorite.
