My Roman Empire is Percabeth. Imagine two souls who renounced immortality for each other, even before their hearts were bound as one. Picture Percy, stripped of all memories, even his own name, yet holding onto the essence of Annabeth. Envision their descent into Tartarus, surviving the abyss only through their bond. Annabeth, who loved Percy since they were twelve, faced betrayal from all she held dear, while Percy’s greatest weakness was his steadfast loyalty.
i feel like percy is the person that people bring with them when they need to go somewhere or do something potentially dangerous. or more realistically, he’s the one who people’s loved ones tell them to take with. it just makes people feel better knowing percy is there. you know what i mean?
sally has a meeting with someone who sounds a bit weird (and paul can’t go)? paul tells her to bring percy.
paul needs to go to a really sketchy part of town? sally asks him to bring percy
piper got a weird anonymous note and needs to go meet them at a location? annabeth tells her to bring percy
leo has to go get some magic machine part from a really shady dealer? piper tells him to bring percy
frank has to go on an unofficial quest to investigate some shady legion history, and hazel has to stay with camp? hazel tells him to bring percy
and it’s NOT because any of these people can’t take care of themselves. they are all strong and brave and badass, and can handle anything. but for one, percy is intimidating as hell. his “wolf stare” sends literal gangs running the other way. you can avoid conflict before it even happens, because no one is messing with percy. and second, percy just makes you feel safe. his presence is comforting. not only has he been through all the demigod-hero-world-saving shit, and is powerful as hell, but he also grew up in new york city. he can handle pretty much any situation. plus he’s super sweet and funny, and you can always count on him to make you laugh and decrease your anxiety. and he’s always got your back. he takes care of the people he loves.
he’s just the best company. for so many reasons.

i genuinely hope that boop day inspires everyone to interact more with other tumblr users. because it’s clearly way more fun this way!! even once the boop button is gone, there’s still asks, tag and ask games, comments, dms, fuck it let’s bring back blog rates i don’t care. part of the reason that tumblr is dying is that its way less social than it used to be. let’s fix that!!

i often see folks declaring friendship from one side or deciding to define a relationship as friendship without asking the other party. that's not consensual. friendship needs to have both parties decide.
Back on Tumblr after a long time just to realise that it's April fools day, and I haven't been booped once
even though it’s bad for my physical and mental health I can’t stop staying up until 3am because there’s something about those hours of the night which feel like they’re just mine. it’s quiet and still, the night belongs to me
I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THIS ANYMORE!!! continues not only living like this but in fact gets actively worse with time
idk if this is an unpopular opinion or not, because i’ve seen a lot of people say stuff like “percy knows better than to go against annabeth”
but see, most people - anyone with a brain, really - are way too scared to challenge annabeth. because 99% of the time, she’s right. she’s always the most intelligent person in the room. shes not only logical and strategic, but she’s sharp, cunning, and even manipulative if she has to be. (as we’ve seen when she’s faced monsters). no one goes against her. one wants to, no one dares.
expect percy. if there’s one thing he knows how to do, it’s argue with annabeth. it’s like breathing. but unlike when they were kids, they don’t truly fight over stupid things. sure, they bicker and squabble over little things, because that’s who they are as a couple. but percy is the only person who will actually challenge her on something real. something big. he doesn’t do it lightly, because he knows how smart she is. but if he truly believes there’s another angle to something, or that she’s wrong because maybe she doesn’t have all the information, or maybe his heart is just in a different place - he’ll go against her. we see it in mark of athena a couple times. (their face-off kinda puts hazel in a trance). in BotL, there’s an argument between them, and i remember it’s stated that watching them argue is like watching an intense tennis match. its heated and fast paced. people make fun of percy for being dumb, and yet percy is the only one that can keep up with annabeth. he knows her better than anyone. he doesn’t think the same as her, but he knows how she thinks. so yeah, he will call her out. he’ll tell her he disgrees. he’ll even tell her that she’s wrong. and people think he’s crazy when he does it.
but annabeth respects the hell out of him for it. and while she might dismiss anyone else immediately, she won’t with him. because she respects him tremendously, and knows if he’s challenging her, there’s something to it. it doesn’t mean she’s gonna let him win, or that she’s gonna back down, because they are both ridiculously stubborn and determined. but he’ll go head to head with her. he’ll have a screaming match with her. and she loves him for it. she respects him for it. and she finds it ridiculously attractive.
because percy and annabeth are equals.

I think I'll sit in the front row, because that will be 3-4 hours of Taylor Swift singing in front of me and if we meet its not going to be more than 5 min, plus front row sometimes does get some special attention from the singer😆😄
