I have seen a few fics where Shen Jiu!Shen Qingqiu gets pollened into having kitty ears which gets him thoroughly embarrassed for a bit but I have yet to see one where it gets him straight up exposed

So he gets pollened and the other perk lord expect something like this:

24/7 just more obviously an asshole than usual

Meanwhile Shen Qingqiu actually:

Shen Qingqiu still keeps up his usual act, which has the other perk lords quite confused. Sick? Ok. He got pollened. But wdym scared? Scared of what?? And all the time???

Meanwhile Shen Qingqiu has no idea his new body parts are betraying him like that. His mask is perfect after all, nothing has changed. Except the damn ears refuse to participate in the performance.

I need post reconciliation Yue Qingyuan to tease Shen Jiu. I need him poke him and make fun and watch Shen Jiu get spitting mad. Like messing with a cat till it hisses. Of course he sometimes pushes Shen Jiu too far on the wrong day and Xiao Jiu will get weepy like, “Qi-ge really hates me? He doesn’t want Xiao Jiu around at all?” (The crying is fake but the want for reassurance is real) and Yue Qi will spend hours petting his fur the right direction until he settles down again.

This should also extend to sex. Yue Qi bringing Shen Jiu to the edge over and over but not letting him come. Shen Jiu gets so frustrated and desperate he’s crying and begging for real. Once they’re done and Shen Jiu has the energy to move again he’ll smack Yue Qi around and yell at him for hours (don’t save him, he’s right where he wants to be)
