She was glad that Sooyoung was still in KT after all this time. Having her on her MGA team was a lot of fun and it was great that KT had brought her in. She was full of talent and had a great look to her, tall and pretty. Taeyeon thought she fit the concept they were going for well and that she was very much someone she would think of if someone asked her to think of a “KT Trainee”. She just had something about her that no matter what, you felt like she would succeed.
Soon they’d all be living together in the dorms and honestly, Taeyeon was a bit worried about that situation, almost as much as getting everything right. Not quite, but close. She hadn’t lived with another girl for about six years at this point, ever since she left her parent’s house and her younger sister Hayeon behind to go to school and now KT. Since then she had found out a lot of stuff about herself, including stuff that at this point, looking at who was left from the old days, only Tiffany knew about her. It would be interesting to see how it would all work out, that was for sure. Concept wise, she was much more okay with this one compared to what she had had nightmares about in her head before. This time, it seemed like things might work out okay, if she could get out of her own way.
“I’m sorry for interrupting!” she apologized, hearing the other stumble a little bit. “Ah, of course you’re improving!” she beamed at her, nodding confidently that that was the case, as though there was never a doubt. “You work hard, I’m sure you’re doing wonderful!” she reached out to affectionately pat the other’s arm. “I’m… feeling like I’m going to fall over all the time,” she admitted with a slight chuckle. “But I think I’m slowly, very slowly, getting it. It’s been tough so far, but worth it.”
at taeyeon’s apology, her head shakes, “oh no don’t apologize! i’m thankful for the break,” she laughs, half breathless. “any excuse to talk with taengoo i’ll take~.” it sounds like she’s joking, but spending time with taeyeon is a little like a breath of fresh air, despite the younger’s naivety sometimes. it’s endearing, sooyoung thinks, and hopefully would never change.
“hey, falling over?” the questioning in her tone is evident, as she holds a hand to taeyeon’s head and then herself, “maybe you’ve grown and that’s why you feel that way.” she grins, her nose wrinkling in sincerity. “you’re really improving too, you know? don’t be down on yourself... you’ve been working equally as hard as any of us.” over the two years that they’ve known each other, and from hearing tiffany talk about her, sooyoung knows that taeyeon’s confidence isn’t always great either, and if soo is feeling nervous, then there’s a good chance taeyeon is in need of some reassurance too. after all, the six of them were really all that they had to lean on, especially since they weren’t technically allowed to talk to anyone about debuting yet.
“is there a particular part with it that i might be able to help with?”
