Project Stream - a #KeepYJAlive initiative
We’ll be kicking things off on Wednesday, November 26th, which also happens to be the anniversary of Young Justice. Starting on the same day the show first premiered just felt right. That kickoff thread will cover Episodes 1–2 ("Independence Day" and "Fire Works")
After that, we’ll settle into our regular rhythm with 2 episodes Thursday for the rest of the season. All times are at 6:30 PM PST. Bear in mind we you don't have to follow this exact timing and can go at your own pace.
Note: There is a typo on the poster. Launch week lists November 25th which is a Tuesday. The correct date is November 26th (Wed). We apologize for the confusion that this may have caused and have corrected in future posters.
Weekly Episode Discussions
One of the goals of Project Stream is to give fans a place to engage with each week’s episodes. To support that, and with help from the r/YoungJustice mod team, we’re excited to bring weekly episode discussions back to the subreddit!
The format will be similar to the discussion threads the sub used to run when the show was actively airing. If you were around during Phantoms, it should feel pretty familiar. If not, you’ll pick it up quickly as it’s very straightforward. The only thing is that instead of 1 post per episode, each post will combine the 2 episodes of the week.
Alongside that familiar structure, we’re adding a few touches of our own to make each thread clear and easy to follow. Each weekly post will have the flair “Season 1 Discussion” so fans can quickly spot it in the subreddit.
The title format will be consistent every week and will follow this structure:Project Stream – Week {N}: Episode {N1} and {N2} Discussions
Each the post will also include the following:
Cover Art (Either produced by the show or in house)
A brief synopsis of each episode.
Tie-In Comics continuity (if applicable)
In addition, we’re still developing a few extra features to enhance the Project Stream experience as we move through the season. Our goal is to bring a sense of fun, cohesion, and coordination to the rewatch. Something that feels a little “Young Justice,” a little Watchtower, and very us as a community.
We’ll be rolling out some of these additions as soon as they’re ready. Think of them as bonus tools designed to make the rewatch feel more interactive and visually engaging. As the weeks go on, you’ll start seeing some new elements pop up to help track our progress and celebrate each milestone along the way.
Next week marks the anniversary of Young Justice, and it feels fitting that we’re celebrating it not with nostalgia alone, but with action something that shows we still care, we’re still here, and we’re still willing to put in the work to support the series we believe in.
Thank you again for all the support so far. Seeing the excitement around this initiative reminds us why we’re doing it in the first place. We hope you’ll join us each week, participate in the discussions, and help make this rewatch something the whole community can be proud of.
