It's that time of the month, and dear reader, you're dreading it. But fear not---your beloved G'raha is here.

When you woke one morning, you knew something was not right.

Cramps.

Ouchies.

Oh fuck.

You quickly threw off the covers and sat up a little, checking your sleep shorts.

No stains. That’s good at least.

Hurrying to the washroom, you immediately yanked down your shorts and smalls.

Another sigh.

Okay, just a few drops.

Then your abdominal muscles clenched, causing you to double over in pain.

Fuck. My. Life.

Of course, it’s bad cramps and barely anything coming ou—

Blood began to seep down your legs, and you screamed a colorful variety of obscenities.

Within moments, there was a knock on the door.

“Darling? Are you alright in there? I heard you yelling.”

Raha.

You groaned. “Yes. It’s…it’s that time of the month, love.” Rolling your eyes affectionately at the resulting “oh” from G’raha, you swiftly started to take care of the quite literal bloody mess.

“Is there anything I do, my love?”

Always thinking of me first.

“I’m gonna clean up, but if you get me some coffee and something to eat, then that would be great. Thank you.”

“As you wish, my dear. I’ll return shortly!”

By the time you had cleaned yourself, changed, and climbed back into bed, a triumphant G’raha entered your shared bedroom carrying a tray.

Your mouth dropped open in shock.

G’raha seemed to have interpreted “something to eat” as “take every Ishgardian pastry in sight” from the kitchens of the Rising Stones.

Twelve take me…wait a second, that cart is rolling itself and appears to be a coffee bar?

You stared at your dear Raha, who appeared oblivious to your disbelief. “I…”

“All of these are freshly baked, my heart. I also have a selection of jellies, jams, and butter. On the cart there’s your favorite blend, that mocha creamer from Radz-at-Han you adore, as well as teas and hot cocoa in case you want those instead.” He faced you, hands on his hips, tail wagging happily behind him. Oh. Now he noticed. “Dearest! What’s the matter?”

Where do I even start?!

You sat there, starting to feel like a dead fish with the way your mouth was hanging open. “You…you didn’t have to go to such trouble, Raha—”

Apparently, that was the wrong thing to say.

He practically leapt into bed with you, cupping your face in his perfect hands. “Trouble? Tending to the one I love is not trouble. It never will be. Although,” he chuckled, blushing slightly. “I will admit I may have taken a little too much, darling.”

“Do you see me complaining?” You teased gently and shifted to rise but— “Ow.”

CRAMPS.

G’raha shook his head, holding his hands up. “No, no, no! Don’t move! I’ll make a small…ahem, perhaps not a small plate and bring it to you, darling.” Your beloved quickly assembled at not at all small plate of pastries, which he then handed to you. “Ah! Coffee! My heart, what would you like?”

And that’s how we spent the day---cuddling in bed with a ton of pastries and coffee. Thanks Raha.

While it seemed the worst of the bleeding was over with on ugh cycle day three fuck why does this shit last so long, your cramps continued to fucking suck.

Which meant, of course, that G’raha was awake before you, gathering a much more reasonable breakfast and coffee thank fuck. Even though you were in clear pain, you and G’raha enjoyed a joyfully lowkey breakfast in bed.
