Barty loves Evan but still knows he’s kinda fucked up. Barty loves him when he has random bursts of anger and will start screaming and throwing stuff for no reason, but he will always hold him as he cries after. Barty loves him when he has manic episodes and won’t sleep for days and acts impulsive, and Barty will still comfort him as he collapses from exhaustion after. Barty doesn’t love him despite these things, but rather he loves Evan because of them. These things are what attract Barty to Evan like a moth to a dying, flickering flame.

Evan Rosier who is a vampire and bites human Barty, but Evan doesn’t want to hurt Barty even though he is the most perfect human he’s ever met. They become obsessed with one another and Barty is actually really into being bitten and is okay with it and keeps tracking down Evan across Europe in hopes that he will get bitten again. Then they fall in love and live in a cool castle together and live happily ever after!!
