“I’m going to kill you,” Barty murmured to Regulus as they both sat in the waiting area of the piercing studio. Regulus had an unbearably smug look on his face while Barty struggled to keep his lunch down.
“Why? You made the bet. Last time I lost, you made me get that tattoo of your lips on my arse,” Regulus replied calmly, raising an eyebrow in an invitation to argue.
Barty narrowed his eyes. “But a tattoo on the arse and a needle in your dick are two very different–”
“Hello, boys! How can I help you today?” a woman with white-blonde hair and a smile on her face asked cheerfully, appearing from behind a curtain that seemed to lead to the back rooms. She was heavily tattooed and pierced and looked ethereal, with flowers and butterflies adoringing her body.
Barty sighed, shrinking a bit under Regulus’s expectant glare. “I…you do Prince Albert piercings, right?” he asked, wanting to run screaming.
“Sure! Let me just walk you through the expectations and aftercare!” she replied happily, launching into a thorough explanation.
As he listened, he reflected that at least it would be a woman doing this piercing. He’d been worrying all morning about some random dude having his hands all over his junk, because if he was ugly, that would be awkward, and if he was hot….well, it was better that it was a woman. Barty didn’t like women that way, so he could just focus on not screaming from the pain.
“...so if you’ll just sign this, I’ll take you back to my brother, Evan, and he’ll do the piercing!” the woman, who had introduced herself as Pandora, finished, handing him a clipboard.
As if called there, another man appeared from behind the curtain, and Barty nearly dropped the clipboard. The man was stunning. Covered in metal and ink, two different colored eyes, and a glare that made Barty want to fall to the floor, he instantly knew this would be trouble. Unlike the fantastical motifs covering his sister’s body, Evan was covered in roses, skulls, and daggers.
Barty’s mouth was watering.
He also realized very quickly that this piercing experience was going to be much more uncomfortable than he’d anticipated. Especially with the way Evan was looking at him.
“Hey,” Evan said with a smirk, his low voice sending shivers down Barty’s spine.
Laughter from behind him caused Barty to turn around and glare to a chuckling Regulus. “What?” he hissed, embarrassed.
“This is so much better than I thought,” Regulus grinned.
