Commission 1 is completed! This project took around 5 months to complete as I was working on it in between school, full time job, and life in general! I DO NOT OWN THIS CHARACTER! THIS IS SOMEONE'S OC! This plushie is the first of in many aspects for me such as 1) Hand embroidering 2) Adding yarn hair 3) Making a pattern all by myself 4) Making doll sized sandals 5) Mixing digital machines embroidery files to make a face. Next Commission to be completed should be coming out soon!

As my plushie commissions wrap up, I'm planning on starting a free webcomic that's completely hand drawn. Mostly in part bc I can't for the life of me figure out digital art at all lol.

Now Im not an art major or professional and there is going to be lots of mistakes with well... Everything.

BUT!!! that's the fun of it! I want people to see the eraser marks, the interesting proportions, the inconsistency in minor details bc I forgot, the plot holes in the story bc I also forgot about a story detail, and the off scale moments. I think these are all important because it gives it a soul, my soul. All I ever wanted to do since I could remember was to make comics, I want to make and share my stories regardless of popularity bc I just wanted to make it.

I'll be posting a lot of conceptual art and sketches on tumbler and keep updating about website and releases 2 the best of my ability.

Just wanted 2 show off my sweet loot I got from PAX Unplugged last weekend! Had so much fun playing card games and fighting my way through the crowds, it felt so good to just let loose and get back intouch with my nerdy cringe side.

On a 4 real note, though, I feel like a lot of people nowadays forget 2 be passionate about their interests 4 the sake of being seen as normal. It's okay 2 like the things you like and show them off. Is all this humbling on social media sites like TikTok and Meta just mean for no reason? Seriously, comment sections of ppl showing off their skills, whether it be arts, crafts, baking/cooking, sports, dancing, or just being a fan of something, are filled with the rudest things like "imagine ppl listening" "u thought u really did something there" or "u do u boo ig". Like, I understand not liking a video that doesn't meet ur specific interests, but maybe just scroll if it doesn't interest u? Ik I'm not the only person who realizes this shift I just watched a short video about a girl airing out the same grievances of this modern online attitude.

On a positive note about all that negativity, thank you to all the reposts from the Fable Smp fandom! I'll be sure to post more of my sewing creations and hopefully film an overview video so people can make their own, while I don't think my next plush will be Fable-related, I do appreciate all the kindness! Hopefully, I'll get around 2 finishing at least seasons 1 and 2 during my winter break before next semester hits.

I'm so excited to finally share this project of mine! My BFFL really loves this Minecraft series on YouTube called Fable SMP. So, while thinking ahead for the holiday presents, I sketched a plush of @sherbertquake56 character Icarus. (If you can't tell, I know almost nothing about this, lol. I'm about halfway through season 1 currently.) I used a lot of fan art and cosplay photos for reference (big thanks for the wiki and Sherbert's insta bc I would've been so lost on trying 2 figure out any of the details of this lol) and decided to actually sew this after a day of debating it.

A little breakdown of this project: all patterns are from Choly Knight/ Sew Desu Ne? I mixed and matched the Chibi Human Doll Plush pattern, Doll Clothing Essentials pattern, Human Eyes Digital Embroidery pattern, and Dragon Eyes #10 Digital Embroidery pattern. I used Minky fabric for the hair and the skin (I was gonna paint on the eye blood, but I wasn't sure if the fabric paint would bleed into the minky uncontrollably, and I only had enough fabric for the actual plush. I'm sorry for the inaccuracy.) The pants shirt and jacket are made from some fat quarters I picked up from my local fabric store. The necklace is made from mini potion bottles, paint, and a bracelet chain I found in my crafting bins. The mini pins are from Aliam x Vitam on Etsy. The bracelet I made from some leftover rainbow loom (omg that's a throwback to like what 2014? lol), and the Goggles (which I forgot 2 photograph, oops) is made from a digital embroidery applique file from the Dragon Eyes #10 Digital Embroidery pattern, felt for the lenses, and scrap purple fabric with fraying lock around the ends. I also didn't have time to figure out how to pierce a doll's ears, so that was a detail I had to skip, unfortunately.

This has been the most fun project I've ever worked on so far. I love sewing, and I just got into sewing plushes, so I hope I did this justice, lol. Let me know what characters or anything else I should sew next. Hopefully, when my semester finishes I can watch the rest of Fable so I can actually understand everything I just made and what I maybe missed, lol. I haven't really felt like myself recently, so I decided to take more walks round on campus the other day. I found these flowers growing on this one singular tree, I thought it was so amazing.

I still don't really feel like myself, I mean I feel like I don't even know myself. I left all the clubs I was in on campus and now I'm just really zeroing in on my classes, I feel like I don't belong anywhere. Every club I was in I really tried to make friends or join a friend group but I'm to shy to even start a conversation; I end up just trying to remember every social cue there is so I don't look or sound stupid. I have a few friends on campus but I can't read the room enough to tell how close of friends that we are so I guess that were just school friends just so I can avoid that awkward mistake of thinking we're closer than we are.

Which leads me back to these flowers. I believe these are Cercis Canadensis, also know as an Eastern Redbud. I couldn't find any flower language about it but looking at this tree it reminds me that even when life changes in a way that isn't favorable to you such as the incoming of a new season you despise or that making new intimate relationships isn't the same; remember that you only need a few flowers to change your perspective because change isn't good or bad it's just different and sometimes there's good in what you can't see yet.

This reminds me of something my late friend told me last semester: "Roses for Rosa. " Maybe that should be my thing. Then again, my favorite flowers are moonflowers (Ipomoea alba).

I took this photo a few days ago. I just went on a walk and found the cutest squirrel! I mean all squirrels are pretty cute but the ones near where I live are so friendly and a bit fat, I seriously think they eat the food people litter outside.

On a positive note I can't wait to show off the project I've been working on, it's a Christmas gift 4 my bff and ik they follow me so I'll post it after. I've been sewing it since June little by little and now it only needs one last detail before I wrap it all up. Hopefully I can make more like it and post it once I get my embroidery machine upgrade, my sewing machine is perfect but it can only embroider 4x4 and my projects require at least a 5x7 hoop now.

Can't wait 4 the holiday break bc omg I need it after this semester.
