Transphobia is about to be signed into law in the UK. We can fight this.
I am begging the UK trans community and its allies to attend the Mass Lobby at Parliament on June 25th, 11am-4pm, organised by Trans Solidarity Alliance.
Last year we broke the record for an LGBT+ mass lobby of Parliament. Will you help us break it again? Join us on 25th June 2026 to demand be
The new EHRC Code of Practice pushes trans people out of toilets, hospital wards, and community spaces. It normalises gender policing based on appearance and stereotypes. It becomes statutory guidance in the UK by the end of June.
Trans people are now legally their assigned gender at birth and must join gendered spaces accordingly, but if they are perceived as their lived gender, they can also be ejected from those spaces. The guidance says: either break the law, or don’t pass too well.
A mass lobby is where you invite your MP to discuss your concerns with you in-person. Ask your MP to:
Demand full parliamentary scrutiny, debate, and use their free vote on the EHRC Code of Practice.
Support any motions rejecting the EHRC guidance. As of June 4th, Labour MP Nadia Whittome has submitted a prayer motion - Early Day Motion 240.
Write to Bridget Phillipson, the Minister for Women and Equalities about our concerns
Your MP does not have to be an ally, they do not have to respond to your email for you to show up and greencard them (details below the cut.) What matters is that as many people as possible show up.
I cannot stress this enough: Showing up in person matters. It is much more effective than petitions, emails, and letters.
It is a horrible, stressful time, and I am so sorry if you're trans and live in the UK. But I was at last year's mass lobby and the line for greencarding alone stretched around the back gates. It was a record breaking mass lobby and made us impossible to ignore. Let's do even better this time. Details under the cut:
Worried about what to say?
Bring your personal worries about transphobia being signed into law, and trans friends being excluded from public spaces. You are a living person who deserves dignity. Remind your MP of that. You will also get guidance and brochures from Trans Solidarity Alliance that outlines our demands. This is mine from last year.
Money issues?
Trans Solidarity Alliance provides a travel bursary that you can sign up for via the link.
Got a refusal or no response from your MP?
Come anyway! You can request a same-day appointment with your MP through a process called greencarding. They will come and see you if they’re already in Parliament. Even if they don’t, they’re made acutely aware of your cause because you showed up in person. This is my greencard from last year.
Here is the EHRC Code of Practice in full. It's a tough read, but some highlights are:
Organisations can’t provide trans-inclusive, single-sex services, or they risk being sued for discrimination.
e.g. domestic violence support for women including trans women, men’s rugby group including trans men (12.68).
Trans people will have nowhere safe to pee.
If you’re a trans man, businesses can't allow you to pee in the men's, and you can also be ejected from women’s bathrooms if you’re perceived as a man. Vice versa for trans women. EHRC suggests a ‘third space’ bathroom, which is discriminatory and unworkable for most businesses. (13.130-133)
Sports organisations must exclude trans people from single-sex competitions (13.73).
A women’s only sports competition must exclude trans women because of their biological advantage or face potential lawsuits (13.74), but a trans man who has undergone testosterone treatment can also be excluded based on fairness rules (13.81).
Trans women are stripped of the legal definition of ‘lesbian’, and therefore no longer have legal protections if they’re discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation. (2.50, 2.92).
Here is the Good Law Project's better explanation of the EHRC Code.
I have also made a PDF printout of QR codes for the government petition, email your MP tool, and mass lobby link to pass around your communities. DM me and I'll send it to you.
Decided to make some Cookie Run Kingdom variants of some of my friendo's characters and their favorite character from Loomian Legacy for their birthday :D
@the-alternates-are-in-my-home HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAN I HOPE YOU CAN ENJOY
So I thought it'd be fun to draw Nightmare, but I didn't feel like making it digitally so uh- BEWARE! Rare sketch post. I- might've blacked out the background by hand with pencil. I might be insane.
Spoilers for The Amazing Digital Circus Episode 6 ahead, putting this all under a read more for anybody who hasn't seen it yet.
So. I don't know how many other people noticed this with everything else that happened in this episode, but instead of directing attention to Jax, Zooble, Ragatha or Gangle, I'd like to direct our attention to a certain chess man in the room.
Kinger.
So, I've noticed quite a bit going on with this man in THIS episode that kinda had me looking at him with a lot more suspicion.
Now, the butterfly scene may come to mind first, but take note of something before we get into the actual bug reveal;
Kinger is clear and concise in this scene. In the light.
Notice he's actually thinking clearly here. Strategizing, coming up with a plan. No silly antics, no screaming, just straight to the point.
This wouldn't have been suspicious on its own, uuuntil we get to the butterfly scene. Ragatha, of course, missing some health, comments on how unfair it is.
And how does Kinger respond?
"I've got just the thing!"
Not "Let me try something-" or "I wonder if I- there we go!" Nothing to imply thought or hesitation.
Like he's done this before.
And of course, he creates a bug in the system just for Ragatha to heal. And when Ragatha asks him about this?
Said nonchalantly, as though it's completely normal what he just did. As if it isn't world shattering knowledge that he, a player in the circus, can just MANIFEST shit.
Now, I'm sure we all already have kinda come up with the theory that he was probably a programmer on this game - a game developer. He even has a line he says to Pomni while they're stuck in "hell".
And the line he says to Ragatha when he's consoling her only furthers that theory down the line.
I do have a new theory to throw into the ring, though. What if he didn't just work on the circus - what if he was the one who programmed Caine?
He and Caine are both able to spawn something in from the looks of it. He seems rather eager for adventures a good portion of the time. Heck, he even tries to come up with compromises FOR CAINE. The whole entire reason Zooble was forced into the adventure in Episode 4 was because of Kinger's suggestion.
And the way he LOOKS AT CAINE after he says this, too. Like a proud father trying to help his son.
Also, smaller detail, in the intermission Kinger stops the bowling ball from hitting him and is hit with a chess piece instead.
A rook. A chess piece that can force a checkmate against a King.
Now this usually would just be a funny chess detail any place else, BUT hear me out on this one.
Kinger has NEVER used this ability to summon things in front of the other cast members, with Pomni being the only one knowing about his wife. So there's a LOT this guy is hiding already, but note that it's significant WHEN he does this.
What is Caine doing while the others are shooting each other? Working on the awards show, AWAY from the group.
Bubble is there with the camera, sure, but we don't see them pop up close to Kinger or Ragatha until they're in the Loser Corner.
And when's the first time Kinger actually brings up this ability of his? It's only when Caine's not looking.
I think he only did this right here and now because Caine wasn't surveilling the group. Ergo, Caine wouldn't be able to call him out or undo what he did as a result.
THEN WE GET BACK TO HIS BEHAVIOR, TOO.
He's clear IN THE LIGHT, NOT JUST IN THE DARK, as stated prior.
Put all of this together, with the chess pieces in the Intermission, and you've got a little revelation here; Kinger is putting on an act. If Caine finds out one of the developers who made him is still sane, or can counteract stuff he does, or hell - could make the same things he could (and possibly better), then he'd probably lose his marbles. We've already seen how jealous and broken Caine's AI has been becoming over the course of all of this.
Perhaps Kinger's front is just a rouse to ensure Caine doesn't know he still has level playing field. He knows if Caine finds out he has power here, Caine could easily force a checkmate here (metaphorically) to get him out of the picture before he can mess up HIS circus.
So what does he do? Play up the factor. Make sure nobody knows, because if somebody knows he can do this, then they might go to Caine about it or slip up around him.
And who does he seem to trust the most right now? Ragatha. It's why he doesn't seem to mind sharing his ability with her. She won't tell Caine, because if she does she'll be doing something that could make Kinger look at her differently. She cares about everybody and being loved by all of them. If she feels she's doing something that could hurt them, she stops or backtracks. It's why Kinger shares with her - she's probably the only one who won't spill anything out of fear of losing him.
. . . I'm realizing I've been sitting here writing a ramble for 2 hours. Thank you for coming to my crazed Pepe Sylvia levels of TADC ranting and theorizing. :3
(Post Episode 7 edit: HOLY SMOKES CAINE WAS THE ONE TO- HOLY MOLY NO WONDER WE HAD THE ROOK SYMBOLISM??? )
(Post Episode 8 edit: Oh my god I predicted him having programmed [or having a hand in] programming Caine- I'M SCARED. )
Considering that if Pure Vanilla Cookie wins and gets to finals there's a chance he could go against Mystic Flour Cookie. . . Yeaaah Dark Cacao ain't too thrilled 'bout the idea.
Back at it again with another character redesign. Another oldie but a goodie! I loved this guy way back when, and thought he deserved a little love. He and Wraith were some of my most beloved characters I made back then, aside from Lotus (who I'll get to eventually). He used to be a potion slinging mage back then, who had a lot of potential with story-related stuff. Little me really had a lot of details written down for him. . . Including the fact he's aroace.
Funnily enough, little me accidentally PERFECTLY DESCRIBED what an aroace person is, and I just had to keep it. <3 Beloved Ace/Aro king.
Anywho, I added a few fun things and turned his design into something I really enjoy now! :D Excited to get to the next two characters I had back then (Lotus and Voltage, we'll get to them soon don't worry).
Oh! Bonus under the cut- here's him without the bandana.
So an old hyperfixation of mine hit me full swing thanks to a song LongestSoloEver made for Bill Cipher, and I've been stuck in my Loomian Legacy hyperfixation for awhile. . . So I fused them.
