You have, yes - and that’s also down to their parents that they are this way. Dinosaurs? Ever seen those comics by Liz Climo about Rory the dinosaur and his dad? Those are cute. I was more a fan of dragons.
I’ve never heard of them but now you’ve got me curious and I might have to look. Dragons are pretty cool, I’ll give you that. My boys love How To Train Your Dragon.
Oh, have they? What are their ideas? And will you throw another party, like last year? I think that you should be proud, very proud, Miss Ginny, because your boys are the best of you and Josh right now. Wow, really? I don’t even know what to go for this year.
Dinosaurs, mostly. I don’t even know where Oli learnt the names for a lot of them. I am -- just gotta think of a theme and then we can get planning. I want it to be bigger and better than last year. You have plenty of time to figure it out. Still a month to go.

It sounds as though you’re a big fan of Halloween? But it’s good that your sons have taken after you! It sounds like you’re going to have a lot of fun this year. Do you have any special plans so far?
It’s my favorite holiday. The older they get, the more they’re developing into their own little humans. And it makes me emotional. Oliver knows more about Halloween than Hu, but it’s only cause he’s older. Well, I’m going to put on the fair again this year. I’m just trying to think of a theme.

I think the only reason my daughter is very into Halloween now because she realised that Halloween means a lot of candy. I dont think she necessarily cares fir the scary stuff to be honest.
Well, that’s one way to go about loving Halloween. Who doesn’t love candy? Especially when it’s free. I don’t think any kid does -- but they love the dress up side of it, right?

James has already told me what she’s going to be. She was just super casual about it, you know, she’d clearly already made this decision. Their mom will probably decide what Ines is dressed as. If it were up to me, I’d put here in one of my t-shirts and say she’s one of the ‘Honey I Shrunk the Kids’ kids.
What does she want to be? Once kids make up their mind, it’s really hard to change them, isn’t it? I can see why their mom would decide -- she might come up with a little more creative idea. Although if it comes to it -- at least you have one.

They want us to be a family of dinosaurs, but not all of the same kind. Should be interesting.

And here I thought only my sons are crazy. The twins want us all to go as an Aveneger and now they are arguing with my oldest who gets to be who. I am not sure if it is adorable or if I should be worried. I was banned from the planning since I said we have time…but…it is not even October yet.
Avengers is a good idea. I bet they all want to be Captain America, right? That’s always the costume I see around. You should just get them to pull them out of the hat, maybe that’ll save the arguing. I’m with your sons on that one, banned from planning.
fucking love Halloween. I go all out with the decorations and costumes. I give king size candy bars out if your boys want to come into the Valley for trick or treating this year.
It’s my favorite time of year. My boys are hyped up enough without a king sized bar of candy but their dad is probably going to take them trick or treating. I’ll be at the fair making sure it’s all going smoothly.
Any hints on costumes? My girls have yet to limit down the choices of ones they picked.
Dinosaurs is the big one, but they want to be pirates again this year. We might be sticking to the dinosaur theme, though. What are your little ones ideas?

Oli and Hu are the cutest little boys out there, they’re so excited about these things. It makes it hard not to be excited about it, even if it’s still a month away. What kind of ideas did they have?
I’ve made some pretty cute kids, not going to lie about that one. Although I did have some help in that department. They’re big on the whole dinosaur idea at the moment, so we’ll see where that goes.

My husband thinks I’m crazy for planning this early but he’s also embraced that it’s going to happen, no matter what. He’s probably glad he’s in New York filming his show.
What kind of costumes are we talking here? Because if it’s good ones that like snow white/prince charming or bad ones, like Bogeyman or Gru, I’d be concerned.
Sadly, they’re not. Although it would be amusing to see them dressed like that. Maybe one day we will. At the moment it’s dinosaur themed but that might change.

You should definitely be proud. They can’t contain their excitement about halloween and there is nothing wrong with that. What ideas do they have so far? I used to love dressing up. My sister and I would do a pairs costume every year and it was so fun.
I don’t think anyone can really contain their excitement. I started getting things ready for it at the beginning of the month. I might have a little bit of a problem with it. It’s worse than Hanukkah or Christmas. Dinosaurs seem to be heavily featured in the ideas this time around. I used to just plan the families -- but now they’re getting older my husband and I just go with what the boys want.

My sons have already started talking about Halloween and that means that I’m rubbing off on them a little too much. I don’t know whether I should be proud or concerned about this. Over the past week they’ve already gone through several different costume ideas for us. Each one of them getting a little more elaborate than the last.
