Goals For Year 2025

All of my goals when you think about it are interconnected.

My first goal is to finally read my books and comic books. I'd like to read at least a shelf worth of them.

My second goal is to sew more. I have so many sewing projects I want to do. Clothes, costumes, a purse. I want to learn how to embroider and also plan to make thick headbands that fit poeple who wear glasses.

I also wish to pare down some of my clothes and belongings, sometime this year my parents are gonna have tag sale and my closet's feeling a bit cramped.

I'm also going to exercise more and eat healthier. because I need to, I have a thyroid condition.

and my final goal is financial. I paid off my CC last year, and am now debt free and have enough savings for an emergency fund. (Not counting all the spare change I've saved last year) My goal is to save at least 10000$ but I'm meaning to really aim for 12000$

As Ive said before they're all interconnected. My plan is to enact a low-buy year. Why low-buy instead of no-buy. To be realistic. Come summertime I will have comic book conventions and a renaissance faire I wish to attend. I'd like to have the option to buy something besides food.

All of my goals will make this plan possible. I will be using time I've used shopping to instead sew, exercise, read, and trying and cooking new recipes. And the tag sale will of course get me some money, too.

... she never made an effort... she only ever furthered herself from her siblings... she only made herself look like a threat, having it made clear viserys would always favor her, protecting her lies at the risk of others, after abandoning her mother when she needed her most, and used and lied to her, hurting her more than she already was from Viserys, for her own benefit (not to mention her manipulative father buried those thoughts deep in her mind while she was still a CHILD herself)... she had every reason to "hate" (fear) Rhaenyra and in her attempts to protect her children, extend that fear/hatred to them. even then, outside of Aemond (justifiably, considering she felt entitled to his eye and wanted to have him tortured) none of them even really hated her until the dance, at the very most, they felt resentful because their father loved her 10x more than he loved all 4 (including Daeron) of them combined, and at the very least, they felt nothing as she was never there, never mattered to their lives outside of court and politics.

this take is shit. Rhaenyra never cared. she never wanted her siblings in her life. she felt entitled to Aemond's eye, and you want to tell me she gave a shit, not even enough to spare her 10 year old brother, over an insult?

(and before you bring up her call for her siblings to come bend the knee, we know how she can kiss up and lie through her teeth in times of need, her words hold little backing. see it as truth if you want, but I can't trust it, not with how she's acted previously.)

I do believe that Rhaenyra could have worked harder to socialize with her siblings, if Alicent and Otto would've allowed that. Alicent and Otto might have made measures to distant them. My main issue in this argument is that people are always saying how Alicent is afraid for her kid's life. One could make an argument that maybe with Rhaenyra lying about her virginity Alicent made the mental leap to Rhaenyra being capable of killing Alicent's kids. but quite frankly that's a huge leap if you ask me. When Alicent discovers Rhaenyra's lie, her reaction was anger and to think it was her job to put the righteous people on the throne, not the bad girl Rhaenyra. Alicent clearly has an attitude that she thinks its Rhaenyra's fault Otto was sent away, despite her knowing Otto was scheming and being treasonous by scheming. There was no scene that I remember where she had come to conclusion that her babies were really in trouble, before she put that green dress on. It was anger over Rhaenyra lying, that lead to that wedding banquet scene. We don't hear Alicent voice any fear of Aegon's life until 10 YEARS LATER, after the baby presenting stunt she pulled with Joffrey & Rhaenyra. and that was to Aegon, whom she got angry and abusive with when he basically said ' then I won't challenge her'. She only had fear had that point in time because she had provided Rhaenyra 10 years worth of shitty behavior to use as reason to view her brother as competition.

I think everyone needs to realize that Daemon was not being serious here. remember when Ser Simon told Daemon that Lord Grover Tully was sick and abed Daemon responded even when sick a lord's authority should still be listened to. Viserys just died and his wishes were completely ignored and Aegon usurped Rhaenyra's throne. Daemon even likes to think the Greens murdered his brother, too. Not to mention there was Vaemond who tried to unseat Lucerys as hier when Corlys was just sick. Dude wasn't even dead yet. So with all that in Daemon's mind imagine what he was feeling when Lord Tully's heir is who he is met up with. He's not gonna be happy, he'll probably be triggered. and he's gonna want to test this kid to see what he's all about. Also See Simon's reaction says a lot too. He's exasperated and mad. but he's not horrified. He's knows what Daemon is like by now and he knows Daemon's not serious.

Why do some people need to be spoonfed certain scenes to understand the show?

Daemon does not still see Rhaenyra as a child.

Daemon does not miss Laena or love her more than Rhaenyra.

Daemon does not wish he was Aemond. (It's the opposite if anything💀)

And most certainly, Daemon was not having fantasies about his mother.

The whole point of the visions, is that Alys is psychologically torturing him. They're supposed to be disturbing.

She is using the fact that his inheritance was taken from him and given to Rhaenyra to manipulate him.

Think about the dialogue in the throne room vision with young Rhaenyra — "This is what you always wanted, is it not?"

Think about the dialogue with Alyssa — "If only you'd been born first."

Alys is clearly trying to fuel a sort of resentment within Daemon. None of these visions really reflect on Daemon's own true feelings.

I agree with the fact that Alys is giving these hallucinations out as a way to torture & distract Daemon. However, I believe the content of Daemon's hallucinations are based on small inner thoughts, tiny fears he chooses to ignore and insecurities that he has does have. Alys is ramping them up by 100 and using these against him. Otherwise, she would not succeed. Daemon would not be distracted and spooked if Daemon didn't feel these things at all, he'd be able to know they were fake in a heartbeat because he knows himself. Another clue is that we have yet to see a Rhea Royce-centered vision. because he does not feel guilty or think of her ever. Wouldn't be surprised if Alys is already in cahoots with Aemond.

I think that last line speaks volumes.

Daemon going to Harrenhall and there is no fighting, there's some poeple there but essentially empty compared to most places. Its fitting, Daemon is basically alone and now will finally start questioning himself on things. His life, his choices, why he does stuff the way he does, what he wants, but also whether if he truly wants to be king. I don't think ever ever asked him what he wanted, or cared. Rhaenyra needed his help, so did Viserys. He asked for years for his marriage to be annulled and nothing. It seems to me, one of his patterns is that he helps his family. He takes their words to mean something more. He assumed with Rhaenyra saying she needed his help, that they were twin flames meant to burn together, that they were on the same page. He probably thought she'd want him to rule with her. He assumed when he help Viserys his brother would have him as hand, that was not true. I think Daemon just wants someone to say lets ride into battle and cause havoc and be a team, and mean it. I don't think Daemon's ever had a friend or mentor, a person in his corner for him to talk things through with. I hope Simon Strong will help in that.

I'm just gonna say it. most of what Daemon said in the fight was true. and deep down Rhaenyra knows it. Rhaenyra thinks Daemon threw his chance at being king away, but is fully aware that Viserys never told Daemon about the prophecy. Sorry Rhaaenyra but lets review here:

Viserys never had an official ceremony for Daemon being his hier. he did for Rhaenyra.

He didn't name Daemon prince of Dragonstone nor send him there, which is done as training for ruling the kingdom.

I believe Viserys even told Rhaenyra that Daemon was never meant to wear the crown. Right before he informed her of being his hier.

Most importantly, he never informed Daemon of the prophecy. Which is hands down the most important thing. It was however the first thing he did with Rhaenyra as his hier. meanwhile Daemon was Viserys' "hier" for 10 YEARS!!!!

and during those 10 YEARS continually forced his wife to birth a son, even though he had Rhaenyra. who technically by law of primogeniture should, as a daughter, inherit before an uncle.

sorry Rhaenyra, but Daemon didn't throw the crown away or lose it. He never really had it to begin with. and Daemon knows that. You were his last choice and he also felt guilty about what he did to Aemma. which is why he continued with her as hier after he finally did have a son.

Viserys wanted to be king and most likely used Daemon being his hier to further entice the council to vote for him.

and honestly Viserys doing that to Daemon, having him as hier but making it obvious he wasn't serious about it, was cruel. Disrespectful.

I'm not saying Daemon's an innocent victim, he's a flawed idiot who's also a little shit. but if Viserys wanted to trust him he would have. or at least tried. but he didn't, and got manipulated by Otto because he was weak, insecure, and wanted an excuse to be rid of Daemon. Its hard to manipulate someone who does not want the carrot you're dangling. Viserys never questioned why Otto always got ahold of his info on Daemon, much like a stupid mouse doesn't question why there's a random piece of cheese in the attic.

In this book you will read the life of Daniel Suelo. From his childhood, to his mental health recovery, to finally his quitting money. A good read, in my opinion. It has a lot of religious talk, but nothing judgmental, and not just christianity. Good for poeple who like travel, christians, and poeple who believe our economy and attachment to the almighty dollar is unhealthy. Also an inspiring book for people struggling with mental health. But you have to read it to find out why.

Captain Marvel is out bitches!!! I can’t wait to see it, but I have to cuz I’m poor and Tuesdays are the cheap seat days in my town.

And can I just say that I love how her uniform is all practical, her top isn’t strapless and her shoes aren't high heels. Love Black Widow and Wonder Woman but aspects of their uniforms not entirely practical.

And I like Brie Larson for this role, she pulls a very good ‘I’m serious and can kick your ass’ look without looking like a bitch or crazy. She was great in The Room and I remember her from her first film on Disney Right on Track.
