@runaways-hideaway ; I made a kinda gay edit after this entire conversation he has with his (boy)friend cuz brother, the way you look at him is just pure love, pure i-would-do-anything-to-please-you, which is what HE DID glad to know im not the only one who sees it, this movie wasn't in the slightest straight, cuz why were there two seperate confession scenes where they just yell their love out for each other (one of them even ended up in samantha telling him to be with chandru instead lol)

hellooooo thank you for the picking out these old anjaan posts lol i always love it when people interact with my stuff here, especially on older posts :') not many do anymore with the influx of new users from other sites not knowing how tumblr works rip. ye it has been a while since i've watched this film buT YESSSS this movie was so needlessly hetero cos the raju/chandru relationship was just so weirdly written in?? what even was happening, man... so dumb. i know it's a shit film but the sole silverlining is absolutely the homoeroticism that at least makes the subtext vaguely interesting to ponder over in an otherwise bland and commonplace revenge narrative. the entire sequence with bramanandham and the conversation post-dance where they sit on the road is my favourite, too. one of the few bits where the film has some proper heart to it imo

oh wow somehow this got lost in my notifications, but you are soo right, shit film true but the homoeroticism makes it so enjoyable, or maybe i am starved for tamil queer content. At this point, give me a commercial action-romance film with a threadbare shitty plot BUT two male leads and I'd be happy. Somehow that feels more accepting than an indie-pretentious-short-film on youtube or something.

Anyways this inspired me to edit these two again for a whole song. Let me know if you (or anyone else) is interested in seeing the edits lol

I should get back to watching dramas with characters I relate to, doing things in the moment and not caring about the future. Because it turns out, micromanaged me is a demon and I seem to be the only one put in charge of controlling it.

Mr. Queen ending seems like a happy ending for a total sum of ten minutes, the minute you stop smiling and think about it, Jang bong hwan was ripped away from his lover, his friends, his family and pushed into his time where he didn’t have anyone. He lost them forever. 

Cheoljong is now confused as to why his queen isn’t like before, he feels something missing but he doesn’t know what. He is in the same situation as before, someone lying about their identity and he is committed to them. he will continue to be with So-yong and “try to understand” her all over again. 

So-yong is with the king who loves someone else and she knows why, she knows what happened, so she can’t fool herself into thinking that he loves her. but she goes with it because she loves him. 

TELL ME, for WHOM is it a happy ending?!!?!

The friendships in Save me are superior, everytime sang mi said "I have friends who help me" after struggling to escape on her own for years,

Dongcheol and sang hwan's unbreakable friendship and the whole gang,

man hee, the most understanding and supportive one of the group and jung hoon's loyalty, they're so good to each other.

Thats it, let them be happy and friends.

Fei Du joining the city bureau thinking he would get to court Luo Wenzhou and atleast get him to take it seriously but all Luo wenzhou did was make him work and give frequent "is that the way to behave towards your elders" speeches.

Not to forget trying to win over him and his teammates through takeaway food.

The thing about light yagami and L is that they would full on show their love for each other and still kill them. Like whatever happened, they knew they have to kill each other, that's how it would end and the surviving would miss the other for life.

In book 2 and 3 of mo du, whenever Fei Du tries to flirt with him, Luo wenzhou either shuts it down by being unimpressed and more experienced than him or pulls the "That's not the way to speak to your elders" and everytime Fei-all-my-pickup-lines-work-like-magic-Du is dumbstruck and falls for him more

Or Luo wenzhou flirts back way stronger and Fei Du who has never had someone outflirt him just falls for it harder

When you can’t do anything because you are too tired, so you just lay down and scroll through an endless feed but your leg start shaking because it needs to release energy. So now you have this energy that isn’t enough to do anything but is too much to just lie down and you feel cheated

Music and Writing

Yes, music and writing. It's inseparable. The stars to the moon. The shells to the sand. The gin to the tonic.

So here's a couple of ways you can marry music and writing,

1. LISTEN. Listen to music while writing. If you already do, good. But if you don't, how did you not?

2. It really really helps if you have a playlist. For your story. For a certain character. For a chapter. For the relationship between two characters. Whatever you want.

3. Background music. There's so many playlists of instrumental music that's used in movies and tv series that match the mood of the scene. Play them while writing.

4. It's fun?

5. Inspiration. It gives you so much inspiration and helps you think deeper about the character or story when you are hunting for music that feels like them. You have to know the character to find music for them.

6. It helps with the flow. You know how you have to research a small detail and then get caught up in a spiral and keep getting distracted? Well yeah, the song playing will keep reminding you that you are supposed to be writing this character go through an existential crisis and helps you snap back.

7. Seriously just do it.

8. When you publish your book and it becomes super famous, you can finally release the playlist and look cool in front of your readers.

9. I don't know, aren't 8 reasons enough reasons?
