Such a cute idea! If you recognize the color-scheme, this is from another post by Make&Do Girl about her Beekeeper’s Quilt. And the cleverness of her ploy that brought about this cuteness is even better:

Before my Beekeeper’s bites the dust though, I decided to do what any smart crafter who takes on an uber time-consuming and somewhat tedious project does, I outsourced it. That’s right. I sent it overseas. Or at least overland. To my mom, the reining queen of tedious knitting projects.

Clouds by Zach Sobiech

This song makes me nearly cry pretty much every time I hear it. The backstory is described in the youtube description which I’ll copy here:

“Zach Sobiech, of Lakeland, Minnesota, doesn’t go far without his guitar in tow. Facing months to live, 17-year-old Zach is turning to music - writing and performing songs as a way to say goodbye to his friends and family.

Zach was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2009. Since his diagnosis, Zach has endured several surgeries and months of chemo. In May, 2012, the cancer spread to his pelvis and lungs. There are no known effective treatments left. As Zach fights to live, he remains the same joyful soul he has always been. He still smiles as brightly as he did before cancer - it just means more now.”

We lost a beautiful angel this morning, yet his love and wisdom will live on in all those he touched. Zach left an incredible legacy and made an incredible impact in his 18 short years.
