Usually I don't post, nor speak up. But like many, I've seen the announcement of Infold. And yeah, since yesterday I feel a lot of things, mostly anger, disappointment, disgust, sadness... Well, a mess to put it simply.
Like some of you, I was excited to meet Valko. This big soft wolfie was interesting so far and I was really looking forward to interact with him. He was the perfect match to me. The kind of man I enjoy the most and I was already thinking of a cute nickname for him. I've been away from Love and Deepspace for a while because I get bored and Valko - he was the fire that ignites the fire back in my heart.
I find the choice of the devs unfair. I'm mad that they chose to give voices to bullies, to mean people, to haters while we were eager to meet our boy. Yeah, maybe the communication around him was not right, maybe some CN players interpreted things the wrong way, but seriously? Canceling him! No, that was not the good way to process...
Valko had been the scapegoat. He didn't deserved all this hatred, all other horrible things...
My heart is bleeding. My blood is boiling under the skin. I'm furious. Heavily disappointed. They said that he "stands out". What? How so? He had been part of the story before the release! Is that because he is a werewolf or something? 'Cause, let's be honest, a mermaid, an alien or even a dragon is not normal stuff either.
I want Valko back. I signed petitions. I speak up for once. I walk around WWM with "Bring-Valko-Back" over my head. Infold had made the worst decision.
For Valko, the pack is howling. For Valko, we will not back down. For Valko, we will speak out loud our minds, let our voices speak louder than the hypocrisy of some CN bullies.
Bring Valko back. The pack needs him. 🐺
It might be a bit confusing, not well written, but my mind is full, confused even and English is not my native language.
So yeah, I had to speak up for once... For him at least.
Also, I'm sick for their teams and staffs, for those who had put their heart and soul in the creation of Valko. For those who worked on the stories, the conception, all the background... They don't deserve such pressure, such hate. It's unfair. It's sickening. I hope that everything will be alright. That they will take a breath, maybe vacations, relax and take a break from all this mess. Humans are involved there. Their feelings and health matter as well.
