As awesome as it would be to have a never-ending bank account and travel all over the world without a second thought, unfortunately that isn’t the case. Hayden and I sold everything we had and invested all of our savings into making this trip happen. We started off with a decent chunk of change, but travel isn’t cheap, and that number is only getting smaller. But we knew that would happen, so when we decided to make this dream a reality, we began searching for ways to stretch our savings as far as possible. It’s truly amazing how many opportunities are out there when you just start looking for them.
