This is the best description I’ve heard for this method, I always thought it was bullshit because I never heard a description that actually explained how to do this other than “tap your head 20 times”.
I have anxiety-induced hissing, which sounds/feels different from sound-induced tinnitus (which I have also experience). Sound-based tinnitus actually sounds like you’re “hearing” something in your ears, whilst the hissing I have feels like it’s “inside my head”, if that makes sense. But this technique still helps!!
ESPECIALLY, when people don’t understand that sometimes “hyperactivity” can be internal and not external. Little Timmy may be bouncing off the walls but Erica hasn’t had a quiet moment in her brain since birth. But she is quiet and smart and isn’t really a bother. Hmmm….

Joe Biden is already benefitting from eating into key Donald Trump support among seniors and white voters. But now there's evidence that younger voters—who largely side with Democrats—could turn in numbers not seen since Barack Obama jazzed the demographic back in 2008, according to the Washington P
PSA to stay diligent with your 2020 vote
Please remember to do your own research, for your own state, for your own county, on whether voting in person or receiving your mail in ballot and dropping off in person is best for YOU. Some counties may be heavily affected by mail delays, others may experience little to no delays.
Understand how your county has handled voting machines and paper trails in the past, and whether dropping off a paper ballet is more advantageous, or vice versa.

Most states allow early in-person voting!
If you can safely vote in person, vote in person.
If you don’t want to vote in person, most states allow mail-in or absentee! You do not have to mail-out your ballot, you can drop it off in person!
Do not panic and cancel your mail in ballot if that is your preferred method!
Constantly check your registration and encourage others to do the same
Vote as early as possible in your State
If you receive your ballot in the mail and want to avoid USPS uncertainty then drop off your ballot at a ballot drop off box or your local county elections office.
If you must return your ballot in the mail, the USPS recommends sending at least 1 week before Nov 3rd, but you should return it as early as you are possible to account for compounding USPS delays.
If you do not receive a ballot in the mail or you later change your mind to vote in person, then most states allow you to still vote in person!
Follow this guide to ensure the integrity of your vote and others, whether in-person or mail-in!
Become a paid poll worker! The Trump Campaign is recruiting 50,000 poll “monitors” across 15 key states to challenge people they think shouldn’t vote. Keep them honest!

Self-reblogging because I’m seeing both a lot of cynicism about Democrats and a bit of “Biden’s got this sewn up, no need to bother voting” on my socials lately.
Anyone who tells you you shouldn’t vote does not have your best interests at heart.
Wanna know what it looks like from the outside? Because I'll tell you.
Republicans are doing what they always do close to an election, they're getting quiet. They sink into themselves as a group, and seemingly dissapear. They let whatever corrupt strategy their leadership have in place to disrupt the democratic vote play itself out, and they call their neighbours and family and check, "so you're voting four more years, right?".
And this seems to lull democrats into thinking that voting isn't that big of a deal and that their candidate has it in the bag. And for some reason the Dems see this as a chance to either a) not vote, or b) vote for some stupid unelectable third party out of moral superiority. Dumb, stupid choices - both of them.
Meanwhile - come voting day - the Republicans show up, en masse and unobstructed, and quietly vote because it's their civic duty, because strength is in numbers, because they know that they all have a part to play.
Republicans, for the selfish and morally bankrupt jerks that they are seem to have one thing very sure in their minds which Democrats don't - the confidence that each and every vote matters, that it makes a difference, and is essential. And they act on that, at all costs.
Democrats: get your shit together. Republicans will be there, come election day, and you all need to be there, too.
Quietly, en masse, unobstructed, and at all costs.
