Replaced with chrissy6930's mesh edit of said pet bed (scroll down) and re-mapped by me to use 512x512 textures. Existing recolors will break unfortunately, but I couldn't even find many to begin with. I did include 8 recolors (some of them are remakes of windkeeper's (T$R) recolors). They all have a dirty state, it's not as dirty (/turquoise) as Maxis' but it's something at least. I will include my .psd for this in part 2.
Maxis: polycount: 2784, texture size: 1024x512
My default: polycount: 1294, texture size: 512x512
Pet Food
I dislike the original pet food texture, but I liked the one from this upload by @beautifulnerdkitty. I edited it slightly and turned it into a default replacement.
Note: custom pet bowls might not use my default, since I think they often have their own?
Bon Voyage Bone
The bone sims can dig up from bon voyage is identical to the chew bone from pets ep (but a separate object completely), so I replaced it with the bone from castaway. I re-mapped it to use 140x100px texture (yes!) and I also made it buyable (you can find it under misc - pets) but this edit is in a separate file. If you install the buyable file in your downloads folder, it will have a custom star and can be deleted in-game, and doing so will corrupt your game. If you decide to install the buyable file as well, be careful not to delete the bone in-game!
Maxis made a custom description for this bone, but only in English. I fixed this and now the description is available in all languages, courtesy of Google translate (the Swedish translation I'm confident in but please let me know if any translation needs fixing). They also broke the shadow, which I've successfully restored and edited to fit the new mesh.
Maxis: polycount: 672, texture size: 64x32
My default: polycount: 452, texture size: 140x100 (original was 512x512)
Edited CC
All of the edited custom downloads I mention below, I've re-used their files so you have to choose between my versions or their original!
I re-mapped @deedee-sims' pet pillows to match my new 512x512 textures.
I swapped mesh on hmiller61615's dog chew treat, repo'd it to Maxis' treat texture and also made a version using BV's animations to get rid of the squeaky sound. The file ending with _pets is using the animations from pets with the squeaky sound. The file with _bv at the end is using the animations from bon voyage, with a "boney" sound (and therefore requires bon voyage). Choose one of the files!
My edit: polycount: 160, texture size: repo'd to Maixs' texture (64x32).
I edited one of the bones by @vampirekiss6661 from here (scroll down). I made it smaller and a tad thicker and gave it a shadow. I made a bv version of this as well, choose one file; either pets or bv!
Polycount: 402, texture size: 128x256
I also re-mapped, resized + edited the textures of ats2's pet bowl & recolor, converted by @beautifulnerdkitty's here. I removed the sheen, repo'd it to Maxis' resources when possible, and gave it a dirty state. My .psd is included if you'd like to make more recolors.
Polycount: 482, texture size: 256x256 (original was 1024x1024)
Recommend Mods
@episims' no rotating pet bowl fix (thank god for that) and Aaron's finicky pet fix (ad-free direct link, SFS mirror).
My pet bed default is required for my recolors to work, and the bv bone default requires bon voyage, otherwise nothing in this dowload is dependent on anything so you can pick and choose what you want. As usual, no mip-maps and everything has been compressed to reduce file size. You can choose between merged or separate recolors (which are clearly named).
Do let me know if anything is wonky or you stumble upon any problems. I am so sorry for the long post, this download wasn't supposed to be more than just two defaults (well, technically it is only 2 defaults included here but I kept getting sidetracked as you can see).. and I have so many more I'll have to make a part 2 (cats are not forgotten)!

No MTS you might ask, and yeah sadly. I'm done uploading to MTS, the upload-wizard completely hates me haha. I've lost all my text more times than I want to admit and keep in mind I have to write [b] and [url=] manually over there. From now on I'll only upload to my tumblr. No offense to MTS, it's a great site and I love it dearly.

hi! I recently downloaded the hotel you shared (which looks amazing ig btw, thank yoooouuu!) and saw you alo had a beautiful Double Palms Resort too. do you plan to share this one as well? or any other hotels you're going to build? I'd love to download all your hotels, they look so realistic and well-built!
i defaulted a few of these lovely brows platasp converted a while ago and some swatches weren't particularly compatible with the game's color palette. essentially, these guys right here are for those who prefer the ts2 style hair to clay.
Lately I've been redoing my CC because I've been struggling with load times and pink soup, and my inner neat freak has blossomed. So, I decided to make a YouTube video on the process! This one is just for CAS CC though, I got way too much footage so Build/Buy Objects coming in the next video!
I hope it can help you pick up some handy tips to improve your loading times and stability.
For anyone who is getting the Sims 2 Legacy without IKEA. The old extracted packs I did for Mac users should work.
edit: no celebrations either? Link below is all the packs I extracted back when I played on a Mac.
Hello, I'm still alive! I had to take a long break from Simming, but I've finally finished this collection and wanted to release it.
Reintroducing Bella's Secret lingerie store set by RetailSims! Now available in sweet pink or spicy black motifs. Featuring more objects than you'll know what to do with :D
There are four Maxis-match sets in this collection: the K&B lingerie set (3 colors), a new bra mesh using the Freetime sewing machine dress textures (6 colors!), the K&B camisole set (3 colors), and the Basegame slip nighties (4 colors).
For the mannequins and the furniture, I wanted to capture that high-gloss look that a lot of lingerie stores use, and I discovered that the perfect in-game texture was…the grand piano?? So all the display objects are repo'd to that object and come in either glossy black or white (or whatever other recolors you may have). The velvet panels are either pink or red and are recolorable.
The shelving unit is actually three distinct pieces: a panty/bra counter with 15(!) slots you can fill, a double row wall display rack (15 slots), and a single row wall display rack for longer hanging items (8 slots). These live in Surfaces > Shelves for §241.
All of the hanging items can be hung on your Sim's wall for decoration, but they are also aligned to perfectly slot into the wall racks. I personally find it relaxing to fill up the display cabinets, and you can mix and match to your heart's content! You'll find all the clothing in General > Dressers for §18.
I also made some objects to sit on the countertops or in the drawers. Everything is repo'd to a parent object to reduce file sizes, so if you're interested in recoloring the lingerie, check the filenames for the PARENT objects and you'll be able to make your own varieties.
Lastly, I recreated RetailSims's shop sign, but this time in Simlish. I did my best to keep the polycount as low as possible, but be warned it's still high poly. It spans 6 tiles and is EXTREMELY shiny. Comes in black or white! Found in Deco > Wall for §800
I highly recommend you get RetailSims's original wallpapers (archive link to the dead site is here). All original idea credit goes to RetailSims, I just fell in love with their set years ago and wanted to refresh it to match the game's original aesthetics.
Download
I may need to disappear offline for another lengthy break, but I'll stick around for a few days after I post this to check for any problems, so let me know if anything isn't working your game. Enjoy!
i know there are many superb ts2 neighborhood deco masterlists out there but i felt the need to have all cc in one place so here it is!! i want to thank @lesyasun for inspiration and super cool wcif lists, @simper-fi for their amazing and iconic deco list and every lovely cc creator for making my neighborhood experience the absolute best!! ♡

SUMMARY
“The Bonne-Fortune series is the latest hit from Freezer Time Industries, receiving top honors at both FridgeCon and the ShinyThings, Inc. Expo. Give your store some retro-futuristic flair and bring all the customers to the yard!”
This is a set of 13 moderately priced objects for grocery stores and other retail spaces. Shelves are designed to help you maximize space in/around displays, including a shelf (endtable OMSP) which holds objects at an angle. The set is intended to be modular but not too complicated – some assembly required (see below).
Fridges function like shelves – so they won’t keep spoilable food from going bad. They have space for sale items and additional shelving but need to be shifted upward once. Several maxis-themed recolors and an invisible recolor (in case you need it for the carousel display) are included. Additional recolors are available on this site under the #ts2recolors and #co2recolors tags.
DETAILS
Requires All Eps/SPs.
§100-500 | Buy > Surfaces > Shelves
Buy > Deco > Sculptures
Buy > Lighting > Standing/Floor Lamps
Everything is repo’d to one of the following objects: Carousel Display End, and Fridge 001– these items are REQUIRED for textures, etc. to display correctly in-game. The Bonne-Fortune Carousel Lite uses whatever recolors you have for the EverGlow Plutonium Rod (Nighlife EP), including THESE.
**Since the invisible recolor was made first, the game may reference it when regenerating thumbnails. This doesn’t impact the look/use of objects in-game at all.

*A known game bug may disable some OFB shelf slots. Not all players experience this bug in the same way, but if you do – there is a long-standing fix for it. If you cannot access more than 2 slots on shelves, download ONE of these fixes:

MORE_Custom-objects-placeable-on-shelves+LOCKEDTILES (Numenor, 2006)
Object Freedom 1.02 (Fway, 2023)
SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED
1) Place a refrigerator (remember to shift upwards once) or Carousel End/Center pieces (the carousel parts are deco; place end/center parts on the same tile). Use “move objects on/off” and/or “snap to grid true/false” cheats to add the second End piece to the carousel.
2) Use the same cheats to place shelves but make sure to add your sale items to them first. Adding items first makes things easier because if you try to put objects above a shelf with empty slots, the game may think you’re trying to put it on that shelf (including other shelves).
3) For the Carousel End Shelf (use it with the curvy part of the Carousel End), place an item on the shelf, and shift it in place until the item looks like it is sitting on the carousel.
4) Take advantage of the invisible recolors OR use the OMSP Controller (select SilentLucidity OMSPs) to make this shelf invisible/visible as needed. Do NOT use the invisible recolor if you’d rather use the OMSP controller.
5) You may need the Tile Blocker to keep sims from walking through parts of the display (i.e. the carousel). It is included with the meshes and in the collection file. Just be sure that you place it between/behind whatever shelving you add to the carousel – don’t accidently block those shelves.
6) The Carousel Lite is OPTIONAL deco – place it on the same tile as the Carousel End/Center pieces. It is repo’d to the EverGlow Plutonium Rod (neon light) from the Nightlife EP. As you can see in the pics above, the default recolors emit colored light. Custom recolors will emit a soft glow, but no bold colored light.
7) Area Signs 001-002 are optional deco as well – place and shift them as needed.

Finally! Took me a while, huh. This is the updated version of the Tattooer project. It skips some steps, making the workflow much, much faster! Huge thanks to @applewatersugar for his
suggestion on how to bake textures while preserving the transparency. This is kind of a repost of the original Tattooer post, but it actually has some new stuff and a few changes here and there, so please take a look if you want to learn how to use this new version.
This is a series of Blender template files already set up to quickly bake textures from The Sims 4 to The Sims 2. The different Blender files will allow you to:
-Bake body textures from TS4 to TS2 (Female)
-Bake body textures from TS4 to TS2 (Male)
-Bake body textures from TS4 (Female) to TS2 (Male)
-Bake body textures from TS2 (Female) to TS2 (Male) [Bonus!]
-New! Bake face textures from TS4 to TS2 (Unisex) [Bonus!]
-Bake head textures from TS4 to TS2 (Face + Scalp) (Unisex) [Still experimental]
Check the file names to see which one is which, and the resolution of the baked texture it will give.
Everything you see in the render above was 100% converted using those Blender files.

Update: Version 3.4.1 (27/08/2023) Fixed some issues on the shoulders for the AF-body-4t2-1024 and AF-body-4t2-2048 templates. Now the top straps on most converted underwear/swimwear should look right.
Update: Same version (13/12/2023) As requested, added a new spanish version of the included pdf guide!
These templates were made mainly to bake and convert tattoos, but there’s more you can do with them if you get creative. I have to say, these are NOT perfect. Results may vary depending on what you are trying to convert, so! With that in mind, this is all the stuff you will be able to convert almost seamlessly from TS4 to TS2:
-Tattoos.
-Other body details such as body hair, scars, freckles, supernatural/occult details…
-Body painted underwear and swimwear, as well as some other clothing that’s mostly painted on the body.
-Socks, stockings and maybe leggings.
-Even skintones! In some areas they will look weird, so I recommend editing and blending them with other existing TS2 skins.
-Makeup, eyebrows and beards. In the old version this was just a proof of concept, but now I’ve added a new Face file template which gives some pretty decent results!
-Hair scalps. Very useful when converting some hairs! Although keep in mind part of that texture might also need to be baked on the face mesh, you know, that hairline makeup stuff.
Got your attention? Nice! Editing some of the textures from TS4 to match the UV mapping in TS2 using a 2D editing program can be incredibly hard. That’s where texture baking in Blender comes to the rescue!
You will need to download Blender, at least version 3.4, but you could always use a newer version. It is only incompatible with versions older than 3.4.
-You can download Blender for free here.
-You will also need Sims 4 Studio to extract the original Sims 4 CC textures you want.
In the first version of these Blender files, there was a necessary step using Photoshop, but that’s no longer needed. However, there’s still a tiny extra step which requires resizing the newly baked texture on some of the high resolution templates, so you might need a 2D editing program like Photoshop. More on that later.
So, before we begin, let’s clear out some questions you might have. What the heck is this texture baking thing and what does it do? Well, let’s imagine you have a video projector and point an image into a blank wall. Then you pick up some brushes and start painting and copying that projected image in that wall. Texture baking is kinda like that when it comes to 3D models. You align two models and match them as closely as you can in shape and form, and once you adjust some parameters and values, Blender does the rest for you: it will give you a new texture for a new model with a different UV map. These files I’m sharing have everything already set up, so it’s a matter of plopping in that Sims 4 texture and you will get that new texture for TS2 in just a few clicks.
This tutorial assumes you know literally nothing about how to use Blender, so if you feel uncomfortable with it, worry no more! This will guide you with pictures showing where you need to click and explaining what is happening. For Sims 4 Studio and Photoshop the process might be a bit less detailed, but still this should be pretty beginner friendly. For this tutorial, I will use some tattoos as an example (properly credited at the end of the post). Alright, enough with the rambling. Let’s get started!
·EXTRACTING TEXTURES IN SIMS 4 STUDIO:
First things first, you will need to extract as pngs all the textures you want to convert from TS4 using Sims 4 Studio. It should be pretty straightforward. Just open the packages and export the Diffuse textures. Keep them organized in a folder for easy access.
·BAKING THE TEXTURES IN BLENDER:
PRELIMINARY STEP 1: CONFIGURING BLENDER’S GRAPHICS SETTINGS:
Open your preferred Blender file depending on what you’re going to bake and the desired resolution (in this example I’m going to use the AF-body-4t2-1024 file). Before we start messing around in Blender, there’s one thing you should set up. It is a onetime step, and once it’s done, you won’t need to do it again. So, does your computer have a dedicated graphics card? If you don’t know or you’re not sure, just skip to the next step. Configuring Blender so it uses your graphics card instead of your CPU will make the baking render much faster, so it is recommended you set it up correctly.
If your computer has a dedicated graphics card, click File (1) > Preferences (2) > and on the window that pops up click System (3) > and select CUDA and make sure your graphics card is there and tick it (4). I have an Nvidia Graphics card but your case may vary. Once you’re done, click on the tiny button on the bottom left corner and Save Preferences (5).
PRELIMINARY STEP 2: CHOOSING THE RENDERING DEVICE:
Click on the tiny camera button on the right, called Render Properties (1), and on Device (2) select GPU Compute if it’s not already selected. If you’re not sure if you have a graphics card or not, just select CPU. Then select the Material Properties tab (3) and Save your changes, either by pressing Ctrl + S, or clicking File (4) > Save (5). You might need to do this second step with the other Blender files, but once you have it done and saved, you won’t need to do this again. Okay, time to get into the good stuff!
·STEP 1: LOADING YOUR TS4 BASE TEXTURE:
In the Material Properties tab, click the folder icon that says Open (1) and on the window that pops up, navigate through your folders and select your first texture. To navigate easily, the 3 buttons on the top right (2) are for the display mode. They will show your files in list mode, vertical and horizontal, and the one on the right will display the file thumbnails, pretty useful if you want to easily preview your textures here. The icons on the left side (3) will let you go one folder back and forward, go to the parent directory, and refresh the folder in case you just dropped something new in there. Double click on the image you need and that will load the texture into the Sims 4 body model, named “ts4 body”.
·STEP 2: SETTING UP YOUR SELECTION AND BAKING THE TEXTURE:
On the top right of the screen, you will see the names of the 2 models in the scene. Hold the Ctrl key in your keyboard and left click on the “ts2 body” model (1). If you did it correctly, you should see “ts2 body” in a yellowish orange color, and right down below, “ts4 body” should look more like a red orange. If not, try again by clicking first on ts4 body, and then while holding Ctrl click again on ts2 body. Then switch to the Render Properties tab by clicking the tiny camera icon (2) and click Bake (3). Depending on your screen resolution, you might need to scroll down a bit with your mouse to see the Bake button. Wait a few seconds for it to finish. You will see the progress percentage down on the bottom of your screen. Don’t panic if you notice your computer fans start ramping up, that’s completely normal! As I said in the beginning, using your GPU will bake the textures much faster than the CPU.
·STEP 3: SAVING YOUR NEW TS2 TEXTURE:
Once it’s finished, switch to the UV Editing Mode by clicking “UV Editing” on the top of your screen. And there it is: your new texture! You might have to scroll up your mouse wheel a bit to zoom in and see it in all its glory on the left side of the screen. We’re still not done yet though. You need to save it to yet another new folder (always try to keep your stuff organized!).
You can save it by pressing Shift + Alt + S, or clicking on Image* (1) and then Save As… (2). That will pop a window where you’ll need to navigate again and save it somewhere. Give it a proper name (3) and hit Enter to save it… well, Enter doesn’t always work for me for some reason, so if that happens just click Save As Image (4). And that’s it! You’ve successfully converted your baked texture. Congrats!
·STEP 4: GOING BACK TO STEP 1:
Alright! If you’re done with your textures, you can close Blender without saving and call it a day. But let’s say you want to keep baking other swatches. In order to go back to step 1 and start the process once again, click Layout (1), go back to the Material Properties tab (2), select “ts4 body” (3) and click on the folder icon (4) to open and load your next swatch.
Then it’s just a matter of repeating the process from step 2. When you’re ready to move on, close Blender without saving. If you see a small check telling you it will save some images, make sure you uncheck it, so you will be able to use it again in the future from the starting point with no issues. I don’t think it really matters if you accidentally save your progress in these files, but I like to keep it clean and fresh so I can do the process where I left it from the beginning next time I open it. And in case you mess up and save somewhere, you can always just delete the .blend file and download the template files again.
In case you’d like a video tutorial on how to use these files, the amazing @platinumaspiration recorded this fantastic video showcasing the process! You can watch it here.
One final note: some of the baking .blend files save the textures with a resolution of 2048x2048 pixels, as clearly stated at the end of their file name. That’s way too overkill, because TS2 only properly supports up to 1024x1024 for most of its textures and you should always resize your final product to that max resolution (or lower if needed). I just made those 2048 versions because there might be some really tiny and slim details on some tattoos that might look a little too blurry when baked into a 1024 resolution texture, so for those cases use that if you want and then resize them using your 2D editing software of choice.
In Photoshop, in the Resample mode of the Image Size menu, there are a few options to choose. For the fine details, I like the Nearest Neighbor (hard edges) option, which, even if it looks a bit pixelated, it still preserves most of the texture and quality.
For anything else, I would just directly bake them using the 1024 versions in Blender (512 for the face and scalp).
And for the folks who feel comfortable playing around in Blender, this is just the beginning! Texture baking opens a LOT of possibilities, so feel free to move stuff around and edit the models to your liking! If you notice the baked textures look warped or stretched somewhere, or don’t like where some textures are placed in the S2 body, poke around that area moving stuff and then give it another try. The main objective of the baking process is keeping both overlapping models as close in shape as possible. You may also edit and save new copies of the templates, or make new ones from scratch using mine as a reference (keep a close look on those Baking settings and values, I think they work pretty well) and share them if you want to. Go ham, do whatever you want with them! I still have plans on making templates to convert body textures from Sims 3 to Sims 2, but for now it’s not on my priorities, so we’ll see when that happens.
Whew! Hope none of this was too confusing. Need help or have any issues with these? Please ask/message me here and I’ll be glad to help when I’m able to!

Last but not least, a huge thanks to all the people who somehow contributed to make this project and update possible, either by doing initial testing, finding issues to fix, or teaching me new Blender tricks to make the workflow way faster and easier. So thanks again to @elvisgrace @moyokeansimblr and @applewatersugar on Tumblr! <3
And thank you for reading! Hope you have fun playing with this (not so) new toy hehe.
Here’s my default pet fur/eyes mod that was requested some time ago.
Well, it’s not entirely mine, since it was based on @peppermint-ginger‘s eye/fur default mod. I picked fur colours I found most useful for my gameplay and I’ve changed red option of both dog/cat fur to something less vivid (comparison can be seen here).
Eyes were based on uleishi’s and cupidjuice’s mods, but I have repainted the texture almost completely, so it’s not very similar.
I also strongly recommend using this mod, that fixes puppies/kittens eyes.
These are some of the remains of a project from a long, long time ago that never ended up coming to fruition. Rather than letting these go to waste, I wanted to polish them up and give them a proper stand-alone release.

Hi everyone! This is my first ever piece of cc, I'm a little nervous about it, so bear it with me! :p
Since @episims released his cellphone default replacement I've never went back to the old Nokia looking phone from the game and I even downloaded every single recolor for it because I love it so much.
Lately as I came back to play sims 2 I felt it needed a 2020's refresh to it, so I started doing some recolors for my own game and decided to do an entire collection of recolors for it!
With this in mind, this recolor includes:
12 Different phone covers (with phone cases in the works!)
18 Different lock screens with different fonts and widgets
4 Screens for storytelling purposes
Bellow are every swatch for the cover and screen
Every illustration was made by me, so as the UI and layouts, the only thing that I used from the web was this font by Blade_01 and this font by Franzilla.
Episims Cellphone Replacement is required for this to work 🚨🚨🚨

The Sims 2 Geometric Plumbob Loading UI Mod!
Hello, it's been a long hiatus since i have posted in this account; due to obvious reasons that i stopped playing sims 2 for a while and obviously, i couldn't really make a mod for it at those times.
But i am back and for a warmup in a long time, i have decided to make just a tiny modification for those people who are already using Starship UI or Clean UI in that matter.
Here's the Preview for two of the UI Loading mod you can choose from!
There is one for Clean UI, though i'm not sure how it will look like yet because i haven't tested it on the Clean UI version of the mod (Please Clean UI users, let me know if i need to improve upon the graphics.)
DOWNLOAD HERE! (simfileshare)
NOTE: THE LIGHT ONE IS FOR CLEAN UI and THE DARK ONE IS FOR STARSHIP UI!
ACR V2 edit - Kissing enabled after crush only (and then some)
This is an edit of ACR's main controller that I made for my own use. I've been pretty content with it so why not share!
I wanted to 1) slow things down a bit 2) make casual relationships more casual, so I tweaked it so that ACR will only push certain romantic interactions if the sim has a crush/love on the target. The requirements are:
Requires crush
First kiss, peck, tender kiss, kiss hand, make out (outside of woohoo), serenade, squeeze, leap into arms
Requires love
Kiss up arm, smooch, romantic kiss, dance kiss, suck face
Romantic feelings don't need to be two-sided but only the sim with them will pursue the interaction. Making out while woohooing is the only type of kissing that doesn't require crush/love.
The other romantic interactions (that is, most flirt options and romantic hug) can still ACR-happen before catching feelings. And obviously woohoo can happen too, as I want my sims to be able to have casual relationships.
Download (SFS) (alternate) - for ACR V2 only, let this file override ACR-Controller-Main. Be mindful if you have edited any BCONs as this file sets them back to defaults. @deedee-sims' No Bi Gender Preference Decrease edit for ACR is incorporated.
If you really want to slow things down I recommend combining this with some mod that makes it slower to catch feelings. I use Midge's slower feelings myself.
For those who might want to move these edits to other ACR versions, the tweaked BHAVs are CT - Object Menu - Build Social Menu for high flirt & hug, high kiss/makeout, and low kiss.
Done in collab with wonderful @pforestsims – it's 2024, high time to rework how cameras work in TS2!
With this mod, sims can only take pictures if they have a camera in their inventory. To make this more feasible, the default camera is now buyable under Electronics / Small for §120. (If your sim happens to leave on a vacation without a camera, they can still ask kind locals and tourists to take pictures for them.)
In addition, there are six new functional custom cameras.
For most cameras, you'll need to order the photo with a computer to get a printed version, as is the default behavior.
Instant cameras: With Classic Polaroid and Instax cameras, the photo will be added to your sim's inventory right away. They require the instant photo mesh to work (included with the download). The photos taken with instant cameras can't be ordered with computers.
By default, the instant photo has a clear vignette overlay. You can add a tint to it by clicking the mesh and choosing either blue, green, red, or orange tint from the pie menu. It's also possible to revert it back to being clear.
There are two versions of this mod: the 'cellphone' one makes the cellphone work as a camera and is meant to be used together with my phone default. The cellphone will get picked for taking pictures only if the sim doesn't have another camera in their inventory.
The 'no cellphone' version has all the other functionality but the default cellphone won't work as a camera with it.

Files are compressed. Requires Bon Voyage and maybe University too. A collection file for the custom cameras is included; you can keep only those that you like, the mod works with or without them.
🚨🚨 Conflicts with the custom smartphone camera mod by @jellymeduza. Meduza has shared compatible versions in that same post.
This mod conflicts and isn't compatible with no bad photos mod by @picknmixsims.
There's also a conflict with the snowproof accessories mod by guirnaldas. Both mods will work if you make the camera overhaul load after the snowproof accessories.
This mod is compatible with camera default replacements that don't include an OBJD override, for example this one by @vegan-kaktus or this one by me works perfectly.
Update (12.5.2024): The default camera and all custom cameras are now sellable in OFB businesses. The cameras will also appear in the correct position when moved away from a sim's inventory.
Update (24.4.2024): Visiting sims can now be asked to take a picture for you if they have a non-instant camera in their inventory.
Update (29.1.2024): Taking pictures with instant cameras now fulfills the want to take a picture just as the normal cameras do. Sims using instant cameras also correctly gain art enthusiasm from it.
Update (28.1.2024): Both the default and the custom cameras won't get covered in snow anymore if used outdoors when there's snow on the ground.
The mirrorless camera was converted from TS4 by @lordcrumps, thank you for sharing the textures! The telephoto camera was converted from TS4 for this project, thank you @deedee-sims for extracting! The DSLR camera was converted for this project as well, from ACNH.
