100% agreed- I'd seen the reaction before I watched the episode so when I did watch it I thought I must have missed something. At most, Jeremy said it would be good to be bi and didn't express an aversion to it or oral sex with a man. Of course I'm not exactly surprised that Tumblr takes 'wouldnt be disgusted at having sex with a man' as 'omg hes totally a chaotic bisexual!!!' -_-

I really do not think he came out as bi. he said it’d be pretty rad to be bi and joked about being blown by a dude. you can literally say all of ah is bi if you go by the logic yall are going with.  the way you lot make it out is that he had this realization that suddenly he’s bi.

Hey I’m gonna be making me first ever cosplay soon and I was wondering if I was to make a mock up can I use any fabric or does it have to be the same stretch as the pattern needs?

Hello there!

When doing a garment where the fit relies on stretch, you want a mockup fabric with as similar of stretch as possible so that the mockup will fit similarly to the actual garment. If you use something with significantly more or less stretch and base the fit off of that, you will risk having a too tight or too baggy final garment.

Thankfully, garments made of most spandex-type knits have a decent amount of leeway in fitting, and a lot of fitting can be done after it is cut. I’ve been able to do mockups with less stretch than the final garment (stretch crushed velvet is cheap enough to do this with) with no problems because I just adjust the fit in the final garment, but if you aren’t comfortable with doing that, be sure to get similar stretch. This is why, when working with most spandex where there’s difficult fitting issues, I’ll buy extra, so that I know I have enough fabric to make a mockup in the same material.

If doing something like planning colorblocking on a bodysuit, you especially want to make sure your stretch is similar so that the pieces will be the correct size once pieced together.

If you are using a stretch woven or other material without a lot of stretch where the fit doesn’t depend on it and where the stretch is just there for comfort, you can use a non-stretch mockup material.

If the fabric is stretchy but it doesn’t control the fit (like with a loose garment), try to use something with a similar drape, but a similar stretch isn’t as necessary. Something like a loose t-shirt would fit differently in a jersey knit vs. a stiffer muslin, despite not having the fit controlled by the stretch, so be sure to account for that.

Your post about hating people who self dx is such bullshit!!! You’ve self diagnosed too hm I think I have (x,y,z) I should seek help that’s what self dxers do too so shut tf up hypocrite. Most people don’t have the luxury of going to doctors so don’t be so fucking inconsiderate.

pahaha chill tf out. saying “hm io think i have this” and going to the doctors is not self diagnosing. self diagnosing is being like “i have this” and not going to the doctors. “most people don’t have the luxury” i get that americans have to pay to go and see their doctor but wouldnt it be worth it? so you can get therapy and/or medications instead of sitting and wallowing in self pity? if yall want to get better then you have to help yourself instead of thriving in the attention of others and not doing anything about it.if you had any brain cells you would realise your argument of “ you’ve self diagnosed too hm I think I have (x,y,z)” is utter bollocks as that is not self diagnosing, that is relaising something is wrong and wanting conformation and help unlike people who read something and be like “i have depressions now because i took this quiz and it says so”

okay i dont wanna sound hella rude but am i the only one who hates it when people self diagnose themselves? like i always see it with anxiety and depression, and when i was at school people would always say they had it when they hadnt even been to a doctor.

like if you think you have a mental illness go to a goddamn doctor because you might not have it, or it might be a symptom for something worse like diabetes or something that could risk your physical health.

i guess its easier for places with free healthcare but if you truly have a mental illness then you want to get better and you can only get better if you see a doctor
