i just heard someone compare Eva Stratt sending Grace on PHM as a trolly problem. Sure the premise is there, sacrifice one for the sake of all life on Earth but it is not a 1 for 1 comparison.

There is no guarantee that PHM will work. It is literally the last chance for Humanity to have any hope that they can cure the Sun.

It’s less pulling the switch knowing you’ll save 5 over the 1 and more like pushing someone into the trolly with the hope that it might cause the trolly to stop. There’s no guarantee it’ll work. That is why Stratt is a walking ethical dilemma.
