Do you have a compilation of lore mentioning the player character by any chance?? Mere mentions, active participation, etc etc....theyre such a goober and i need every bit of information i can find on them. young wolf my beloved (i am clinically insane. who fixates on a blank slate protag like this.)
Well, the Young Wolf is not really a completely blank slate character. There are things where we can pick and choose (like being human, Awoken or Exo for example), but the character has a defined story and personality to an extent.
Unfortunately, we don't appear too much in lore overall. Primarily because we are everywhere in the campaigns and seasonal stories and our story and actions are seen in-game rather than having to be written about. I genuinely don't think there's any significant number or lore tabs that involve us directly.
We're definitely mentioned and talked about a lot, but that would be a difficult compilation to make because of the amount of appearances, especially if we include any interactions and texts from various quest lines and seasonal stories. Some campaigns are also more focused on us and our experiences, especially in my opinion Shadowkeep (which deals with Nightmares that largely include the Nightmares highly significant to the Young Wolf, as well as our bond with Eris which helps her), Beyond Light (which is very much about us pushing ourselves forward into unknown and dangerous territory of using the Darkness) and Lightfall (which goes even further into that direction and deals with our problems in mastering strand - both of the Darkness powers are highly tied with emotions and mental state we're in, and they both rely on us overcoming different obstacles to finally be able to use them efficiently). The Final Shape as well, of course.
Specific lore tab wise, one of my favourites is obviously Thin Line which is about our Ghost's perspective on us. Other favourites are basically any that involve Saint-14 who's had a high opinion of us for a long time, before anyone ever believed him that we saved him, most notably Perfect Paradox, Saint-14's Gray Pigeon and Helm of Saint-14. If you want a bizarre way we're talked about a lot, The Chronicon lore book and Opulent armour sets from Season of Opulence deal with how Calus viewed us and what he imagined we would do for him in his fanfiction about us. But obviously these are... not really a correct view of who the Young Wolf is as a person. On a much better note, we should not forget Hawkmoon's lore tab in which we're getting drunk with Crow, while being observed by Savathun. We could possibly include also Ghost Community Theater lore tab. Ergo Sum for sure, in which we are mentioned at the end in abstract terms by the Traveler.
Probably one of the best examples is from Season of the Witch where we're canonically shown actively participating in more than just purely the seasonal storyline as someone who gets sent on missions passively and we are actually the ones who figure out the twist with Savathun and the pattern on her wings. This is also accompanied with the lore tab in the seasonal lore book where we are present in the scene and actually speak. I'm fairly sure that's one of two examples where we are shown speaking in a lore tab; the other would be Gjallarhorn. I genuinely can't remember if there are any others.
There's more obviously, as we're mentioned quite often so it's really hard to find everything. It's also difficult to search for; we're usually referred to as "the Guardian" in lore tabs, which causes the search to also catch any other mention of any other Guardian. The name "Young Wolf" is not used as often. The only other search parameter is VIP#2014, a code used by the Hidden that refers to us.
