I wasn’t tagged for this, but it looks fun!

favourite colour: I don’t have general favorite colors so much as I have favorite shades of each.  I really like mustard yellow, warm browns, super turquoisey blues and greens, winey purples, and orangey reds.  Also gray is really underrated, guys.  Gray can be very pretty. 

currently reading:   Good lord, how much time do you have?  For grad school I’m reading obviously a fuckton of articles, plus The Great Gatsby (a reread for me, but I haven’t touched it in over a decade), and George Melissa by Alex Gino. 

For work I am reading North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell – a reread for me, but this time around I’m having to footnote/guiding questions the shit out of it, so it is sort of laborious even though I genuinely love the story.  And totally rewatched the 2004 BBC version while I was cleaning my house the other day because my GOD it’s so perfect. 

I’m also reading Gods in the Desert: Religions of the Ancient Near East by Glen S. Holland.  FOR FUN!  Okay, fine, it’s research for my Star Wars fic set on Tatooine.  I really take research to serious extremes, as members of SoC fandom will remember.  Ask me about historical access to fresh water in Venice!  Go on, I dare you! 

So, as you can imagine, for fun I’m not really reading anything, except I tend to read at least one short fic or chapter a day.  Yesterday I was forced to make do with a Din/Luke ficlet because @treescape hasn’t updated “to have and to hold” in a hot minute. 

I do have a to read pile, and I’m most excited about Fifth Season, but for that reason I think I should probably avoid it until a long weekend or spring break, so I might start picking my way through The Sixth Extinction.

last series: I’m currently on a group rewatch of The Expanse with @totchipanda and Rumpel, and I’m also watching The Book of Boba Fett, though I haven’t seen the most recent episode, which has now been thoroughly spoiled for me by my dash.  Might have to start filtering that, since I tend not to watch IMMEDIATELY.

sweet, savoury or spicy: Savoury and spicy.  I’m really not a sweet person at all.  No, I never eat chocolate.  No, I don’t like any sort of cookies or most cakes.  (I’ll make an exception for a nice, moist carrot cake with tangy cream cheese frosting.)

currently working on: Two different fics for my Obi-Wan/Anakin series, Acts of Contrition, and a sequel to my Brian/Angela futurefic, Ten Year Reunion.

currently reading: The Book of Human Skin by Michelle Lovric. I really have only just started it so I can’t give much of an opinion yet, but I am enjoying the narrative voices so far.

last Song: According to Spotify, it was Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes, which is paused at 1:24, aka how far it had got when I arrived to work this morning.

last series: I…cannot remember the last series I finished but I am currently working my way through Black Sails, five years late to every party as usual.

sweet, savoury or spicy: Savoury. My toxic trait is that I will nail a family-size pack of crisps in about 3 minutes.

currently working on: Final part of roomy and chapter 4 of Adagio. Toss up on which will be finished first but I would say roomy currently has the edge…my other toxic trait is that I cannot work on just one thing at a time.

last series: Schitt’s Creek. This checks all the boxes of “silly, lighthearted, no excessive amounts of violence”. Some secondhand embarassment, but overall very fun to watch. sweet, savoury or spicy: Yes. The way to my heart always involves food. Not too spicy though, I belong in the dairy section, but I’m proud to say I’ve never bought extra-mild salsa in my life.

Tumblr ripoff sites using our blogs and info

I open tumblr after a while just to warn ya’ll about something i JUST found out minutes ago it might be common knowledge by now to everyone but I don’t lose anything staying safe and spreading this info

about 3 tumblr ripoff sites are taking the ENTIRETY of our blogs and posting them in their own sites, in real time. This includes text posts, art/images, videos and reblogs as well as offering statistics that as far as i know, should be private to the blog owner.

I myself stumbled upon tumgir where I found not only my main account, but my art account I hadn’t used in years (To note: The 3 sites are Tumgir , Tumblar and Tumbex)

You can look at my entire blog through this site, and anyone else’s 

I tried doing research but most of what I can find is only other tumblr users who have stumbled upon this. here’s their own posts

Only way to delete stuff from these websites is to literally delete our tumblr accounts. I am unsure on how to proceed with this situation myself and where else to look but I can at least spread this information. if you yourself got other important info to share please do! 

content creators are at risk, people who use this site to vent/cope are at risk, YOU are at risk.
